It was...fine. Went at lunch to try the seafood bisque; thankfully they weren't very busy because we didn't realize ahead of time that you needed to order a full entree to be seated! The bisque was nice but I may have just enjoyed findinga GF version than the food itself? Not sure, but I didn't feel quite right after.

We had an incredible dining experience at Chive! The mussels in the coconut red curry broth were unbelievably tender and delicious, maybe the best we have ever had. The bread that was served with it was warm and perfect. We also had she crab soup, which was full of crab meat and was rich and so good. I had the sea bass which was recommended by the bartender and the server, as being the most popular item on the menu. Pecan pie for dessert was perfect! Our server was excellent, knowledgeable and attentive. 5/5 ⭐Highly recommended if you are in Savannah. Service and food were excellent! The atmosphere was wonderful as well.
Great experience. Only has 3 items marked as GF on the menu but our waiter Donovan was extremely knowledgeable and assured us that the majority of menu items could be modified to be gluten free. My partner and I had the She Crab Soup, Mussels (with no bread), Scallops and Prawn Risotto -all were very tasty. Highly recommend the Blood Orange Martini.

The She Crab Soup must not use a roux, is marked as gluten free on the menu, ordered, was delicious and I ate without pain. I also had raw oysters, crackers are packaged on a separate plate with horseradish and cocktail sauce, so order accordingly. Not a huge selection but both gluten free and dairy free are indicated on the menu and the soup was totally worth the trip. I will be back!

Very knowledgeable bartender and food was excellent, almost all items could be accommodated.
Talked to them on the phone before going in. Assured there were several gluten free options and they were happy to take care of me. We got there for our reservation and not only was our waiting rude and extremely vague about my options, the chef was also completely unwilling to accomidate.
I don't mind if a restaurant doesn't want to accommodate for gluten free but saying they offer it then treating people poorly isn't okay. Just be honesty that you don't do gluten free.
We decided to leave after appetizers, I ended up with an unseasoned bison skewer after having to ask specifically if every dish was gluten-free adaptable since the waiter wouldn't tell me what I could have... when we paid our bill the waiter told us "There's a panera across the street." I guess that was supposed mean we were below the restaurant or something. I'm really not sure.
Ended up getting dinner at Vic's on the River. It was a wonderful experience, they were kind and accomidating and most of all I didn't get sick. Will never return to Chive.
