Review of Choco-Latte

This is a very popular local coffee shop with gf muffins and gf options (specifically Udi’s bagels and bread). There is a breakfast menu for the am and then it switches to tacos in the pm. Nothing on the menu is marked gf. I asked a very unimpressed barista if the tacos were gf she couldn’t give me a direct answer so I asked her to check. The consensus was “no, not gf” but that the tacos were corn tortillas. I opted for the taco in a bowl (not on the menu but seemed to be something they do often). I got the carnitas and it was ok. It was clearly labeled as “GLUTEN ALLERGY” on my receipt but the food didn’t come out marked as an allergy. The carnitas meat was very saucy but not overly flavorful. The gf muffins were kept in the same display as all the gluten containing products and were not separately wrapped. The lattes on the other hand are amazing. I’d continue to come back for the lattes, but that would be all.
