Great food and service. Staff was knowledgeable about safe, gluten free preparation. The menu has a decent selection. Would definitely eat there again.

Additional note: Parking anywhere near the restaurant is a nightmare/non-existent - better to walk or take taxi.

Amazing! I haven't had a teriyaki bowl in 10 years and let me say this one was to die for! If you're in the area and gf check this place out! It's a must.

I just moved here and am so excited to have a tasty, gluten free teriyaki and asian fusion options! They even have my favorite GF beer RedBridge. Love it. Highly recommended for those looking for a small place with good vibes, great people, and exceptional food.

Came here the other day, staff was friendly and super chill. I came on a week night, I was surprised to see that they had a variety of menu items that were naturally gluten free or could be made gluten free. They even stock gluten free beer (Red Bridge!), I had tofu and veggie lettuce cups and some gluten free sliders. Amazing!

The customer service was amazing! I usually hate calling places and asking about GF because often times you will get an attitude or people simply just don't know anything about it. Everyone I spoke with was incredibly nice and knowledgeable, and the food was awesome. I will definitely be back!

Chop Shop is my local Mission Beach favorite and it's just a short boardwalk bike ride from my home. Chop Shop consistently delivers the highest quality ingredients, freshest Asian fusion cuisine and sweetest staff. I love dining on the outdoor patio on these gorgeous San Diego days. I eat here once or twice a week and I would highly recommend that you and your friends try it! Definitely the most healthy option in the neighborhood! You will love it!

It's always nerve wracking eating at a new restaurant- but after talking to the server I felt very comfortable ordering dinner. The food was excellent! It had a nice, beach casual atmosphere and friendly servers! I will definitely visit Chop Shop again.

I cannot say enough about this awesome little place. I have lived in the neighborhood for about a year and started going to Chop Shop about 4 months ago. I am a gluten free vegetarian and my boyfriend is a partial veggie. There are so many items here that fit our diet and style it is crazy! I love sitting outside or getting food to go and always feel comfortable eating here (being gluten free can be a pain sometimes) because Jeffrey (owner/chef) totally gets it! He has an aunt or something that is super celiac and knows how dreadful things can get. I love the fried rice and the mushroom cups and.... well, really everything. The entire staff is so friendly as well. You can totally tell that they all care and love what they do; which is not always easy to find. I would (and will) go back here again and again stuffing my face with their awesome delectable treats for the long haul. Chop Shop is a super solid choice.

I am happy to have found a restaurant that is naturally gluten-free. The manager was very knowledgeable about Celiacs, and now that they are starting to make a teriyaki sauce with gluten free soy, I am able to eat all of the teriyaki bowls on the menu. The Ahi Sliders are phenomenal (protein style of course!)

The food was wonderful offering many glutten free options as well as non gluten free. Jeffrey had a great understanding of their glutten free menu as well as the difference between celiac and gluten sensitive needs.

This place has FABULOUS, flavorful food, with a wide variety of options (from burgers and hummus to noodles and salads)! We ordered three different dishes and all of them were divine, and 100% gluten free.
