Church Road Chippy

Ordered two large fish and chips, peas and curry. Not much dearer than non GF which is a nice change! Fish was huge, the biggest I have ever seen! It was very white and you would never know it was GF. Excellent I would highly recommend.

Staff are very reassuring. They have gluten free fish and chips but no other main options besides that. Fish is pretty decent but the chips aren’t as nice as some other chippies I remember before being diagnosed!

Big gluten free sign on the door. Fish and chips were lovely, cooked separately. They even sold gluten free vinegar bottles which I can’t get at home. Really friendly, helpful staff. Came here specifically for the gluten free food and didn’t realise it was just across the road from Penny Lane! Must be plenty of gf Beatles fans out there, win-win! I react to the slightest bit of contamination and was totally fine with my meal. Well worth the trip.

I got gluten free fish and chips today it was my first tasting I really enjoyed it was the best I have tasted I will be coming back Colette

Delicious gluten free fish and chips. They have a separate fryer for GF and it's in a separate part of the kitchen, so felt confident they was no cross-contamination. The food came quickly and the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, and gave me some free GF curry sauce to try as well. Would highly recommend!

I go here with my coeliac daughter all the time. Separate fryer for gf as well as gf vinegar. They do small portions of fish as well. It’s made going to the Chippy a family event. It’s all freshly cooked and everyone in the family loves it.
