Only two items on the lunch menu with gluten. We had then empanadas and the beef tacos both were incredible

Great experience!! Declared my Celiac gluten-free needs and no cross contact experience. Server seemed aware and immediately understand my concern and reassured I could safely eat. He confirmed a dedicated frier for the corn chips. He double checked the hot sauce and confirmed safe. Had the chips and guac and shared 2 kinds of tacos - delicious! I’ve waited to post to be sure, and no celiac symptoms after eating here. I will be back.

Separate fryer for corn chips, menu is clearly marked with items containing wheat (only 1 item on the menu, besides desserts). Staff was very knowledgeable and explained all over the phone.

Almost everything on the menu is GF. All tacos are GF except for the fish taco, which is breaded and fried. There are also some desserts which are not GF but are prepared in a separate facility. The coconut ice cream is GF! The tortillas are 100% corn, as are the chips for the guacamole and salsa appetizers. My husband and I split the guac and chips and the street corn appetizer (highly recommend). I had the campechano tacos (2 of them) and they were delicious.

I came here because most of menu is gluten free. Menu indicates what has gluten + what’s vegetarian & vegan. But the food is so amazing. I had the fried plantain dish, served with black bean purée and queso fresco. So delicious. I didn’t think it was appropriate to lick the plate or I would have! Then I had the Tacos al Pastor. Delicious combo of fresh pineapple and cilantro with a grilled pork and spicy red chile sauce.Very good food. Great attentive service. My server, Jerry, was very nice. The ambiance is classy. The music was excellent. Would strongly recommend. I will come back here when I’m in Pickering again.
