The food is amazing, unfortunately it's a risky place to eat if you have celiac disease, specifically -- the gluten free pizzas are cooked in the same oven as the regular pizza, so not celiac appropriate, or truly gluten-free. Unfortunately, the servers there (as of September 2023 -- can't speak for earlier years) aren't very well educated surrounding celiac disease (anymore), and they believe "their oven is hot enough to eliminate the glutenous remains of the pizza, so it's okay that gluten-free and non-gluten-free pizza can be cooked in the same oven." Which is what I was told before my server went into a "risk assessment advisory from the chef". I solely ate the pizza here on the recommendation of other reviewers from this app and Yelp stating celiacs have eaten here safely, and now I'm sick LOL. Don't eat the pizza here unless you want to regret it later! Not sure if it was safer before, but here is a first hand account that it currently is *not*.

I'm not sure how safe the pasta is, so 3 stars as I haven't had it before, and I'm still unsure if the crepes are safe or not.

I'm disappointed that the server had no idea whether the gluten free crepes are made on the same surface as the other crepes and/or if the surface is sanitized between preparations. He didn't feel very enthusiastic to find out for me either. Instead, I was told -- "it's not likely that the surface is sanitized between crepes, because they're back there making them all night." And just shrugged at me. So, I gave up. I'll call and ask another time about the crepes and talk to someone who is more willing to communicate with me rather than make me feel like my presence is somehow a hindrance.

I'll never eat pizza here again though. Not worth the cancer 🤷🏻‍♀ Go to Doughbird if you want 100% certainty that wood fired gluten-free pizza won't make you sick. They have a separate oven. If you don't have celiac disease, go to Pizzeria Bianco. It's much better. Stay safe out there!
