Cilantro is one of our favorite gluten free options in Cary. We’ve been eating there for years and it’s always delicious and safe. The family who owns and runs the restaurant are quite charming and accommodating. Highly recommend choosing this place.

It’s very cute in here and the staff is very nice. They label gluten free items and will sub other sides for naan. All the curries were good, we tried saag, butter chicken, and makhani. Delicious! It is order at the counter style but they bring your food out to you.

I have a Nema gluten sensor and it found gluten in my food. Don’t eat here if you need celiac safe food!! They said they have flour in the kitchen to make cake so I’m assuming it was from that.

Super friendly, big portions, ask for mild if sensitive, they will give u a nice chickpea salad instead of bread.

Came for lunch and loved it! It was too spicy for my partner (butter chicken) but I loved it. I had saag aloo, chicken rolls masala. Loved the sides as well. They did bring our plate with ma’am initially but remade a plate easily.

Great option for gluten free Indian. Very friendly and accommodating.

This is on my list of "can't go wrong" places. Aside from gluten, I have a lot of food allergies. They worked with me on everything and were extremely friendly about it. The staff even checked on me multiple times.
Great food and a lot of options. A little expensive for a very casual Indian restaurant but you do get a large portion.

Oh my gosh Cilantro Indian Cafe is the place to go. I am friends with the owners and it is the friendliest place you will ever go. A very large majority of the items on the menu are gluten free (with the exception of naan). The food is so delicious that it is addicting. I highly recommend the butter chicken, as it is gluten free and very appetizing. Each of the dishes comes with a side of Moroccan humus that contains cucumbers, tomatoes and chick peas. They even have gluten free desserts ! I go here about once every two weeks and I will never be sick of it. They are definitely celiac friendly if you ask for no naan and if you tell them that you have celiac.

We have found another Go To place to eat! Had lunch today and it was awesome!!! Not a lunch buffet either like most Indian restaurants. Everything except the obvious items are gluten free (I.e. Naan, wraps, dessert, samosas, etc). Love this new find!!!
This is a great restaurant! You go up to the counter and order they bring you absolutely huge portions of food. All of it was great. Not a lot of meat and lacto free options.
Decor is quite modern, tons of seating.
If you want to have a large gathering out definitely a great place. If you call ahead they might be able to make you chocolate cake or Indian rice pudding for desert. The pudding was fabulous as well.

Yum! Lots of gf options! Only the tandoori wings, samosas, naan and wraps are off limits. Be prepared for a wait on weekends...but it's well worth it!
