Server said they had GF burger buns, onion rolls, and everything bagels. I got a patty melt on a GF onion roll (I think? it was good, whichever bread it was). The fries don’t have dedicated fryers, so that’s a no-go. I expressed I would need the burger cooked on a cleaned surface and that I had a gluten allergy, and the server noted it down. It’s been a few hours and I haven’t had any reactions or symptoms. This was one of my favorite places to go pre diagnosis, so I’m hopeful that I don’t have to abandon it entirely :)
I appreciated there being GF plain and everything bagel options and an onion roll, but overall my family did not like the food and there were many problems with the service. The deli meat didn’t seem like it was high quality and it was difficult for me to be confident that it was GF. Some of us had something tasty on our plate, but overall none of us wanted to return. The server also got our order wrong and asked us to eat what he gave us rather than him change our order. We were sitting close to the register and several people complained about poor service. It was also crazy expensive for what we got. $17 for a bagel sandwich with potato salad on the side.
I have Saturday classes that don’t allow food, so I used the app to find the nearest Gf options. This was the closest with a 5 star review. But when I asked about GF, they said they didn’t have any and didn’t know when they would. Luckily they had a fruit cup available, but it wasn’t very filling.
I ate a fruit cup. Fruit was okay, but strawberries were unripe and tart.
