They do not have a GF menu but the waitress was able to recommend items that could be made GF. My son had a grilled grouper sandwich on GF bread and he enjoyed it.

I went hoping there was a GF menu because this app seemed to say they had one, but they only had one GF entree and a few GF salads. It was good pork loin but I felt *extremely* limited

Such good food! Nice atmosphere. They don't have a gluten free menu but understand keeping gluten out and can adapt many menu items.

UPDATE: sad to report a terrible experience. Less than knowledgeable waitress who actually rolled her eyes when I asked if there were GF side options. She then explained that she would have to charge me extra for the tiny side salad - even though there were no other sides. When I asked about the sauce on the steak she actually said “would I serve it to you if it had gluten?” HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT.

Prior review: Absolutely incredible food with amazing service! I would give 6 stars if I could! No gluten free menu, but the staff is extremely knowledgeable about what they are able to make gluten free! They have gluten free bread, so they can make most sandwiches GF and most ( if not all) fish can be prepared GF! I had a hamburger on GF bread with scalloped potatoes (order those if you go, they are fantastic). The waitress brought over bread for the table (the rest of which can eat gluten), and was kind enough to bring some gluten free bread for me! Have gone twice since being diagnosed with Celiac and have had no issues!

I was super excited to come but we had the most horrible waitress I have ever had. I asked if something was gluten free - she said hell no. She was at least informed and then said that the quinoa salad (only thing on the menu that says it is GF) and then the Cioppino. They do not have a gluten free menu. Hopefully you get a better waitress who is willing to talk to you about the menu. Since she was extremely absent to the table/ Generally unkind to us. I didn’t want chance anything and went with quinoa salad w chicken which was yummy.

Gluten free menu. The burgers with a gluten free bun are tasty. I also enjoyed the salmon.

I've come here when in town for about 3 years now. They have gluten free options, wifi and allow dogs on the patio... so for myself and family it's a wonderful option on sanibel! I've never had a reaction after eating here (I have celiac) and the waiters always confirm if cross contamination will be an issue or if I'm just following a Gf died! They have sandwiches and salads that are GF! Great spot to hit after the beach!

The server was able to tell us the gf options and they had gf bread! I had the fish tacos on corn tortillas and they were delicious. My daughter is celiac and did not have any issues! They even had gf dessert. We will definitely go back.

Very disappointing. Waitress was clueless about Celiac and was visibly annoyed by my questions about the menu. If you're ok with a sandwich on gluten free bread, go for it. Just don't expect a lot of personal attention.

Really nice restaurant with a great atmosphere. Though they don't have a gluten free menu they are willing to modify a number of items to accommodate allergies. Food was really good and no issues with cross contamination.

No pasta or fryer, but they had gluten free bread, buttered and toasted that was delicious. Had a Carribean Jerk Pork sandwich and Cole slaw for $10 lunch. Meat and sauces were amazing. Awesome flavor!!

Seemed very on top of things regarding allergies and cross contamination for my celiac and girlfriends seafood allergy.

Its not that it was bad, it just wasnt amazing like some other sanibel restaurants. I ordered a burger and it came with gf bread (not bun) and it was decent but not wow. Not bad though!

As a gf vegetarian, it can be challenging to find a decent, "safe" meal when dining out. Diane, our waitress, was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Instead of pasta (they do not offer a gf pasta option) with assorted veggies, they provide the healthy and delicious option of quinoa. My meal was great! Cip's also has gf sandwich bread, which they toasted and brought out for me while my husband simultaneously indulged in their bread basket...something I truly appreciated since I usually have to wait patiently until my meal arrives to first get a bite of food! Overall, it was a very positive experience, one I would recommend to everyone.

Awkward service... But I can't deny the food was amazing. They don't have a dedicated menu but.. The service will make sure you get the right thing. PS.. They have gluten free bread as an appetizer just make sure you order it when you order your drinks or they will bring you out bread you can't eat.

They were extremely accommodating and helped create a dish appropriate for my gluten allergy. They even brought out some home made kettle chips while the rest of our party enjoyed bread!

Highly recommend. :-)
