Really wonderful sit down dinner experience in this small town. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable and pointed out all of the gluten free options. He also talked about how they could modify items to be gluten free. My husband and son have Celiac. My husband had the grilled chicken Caesar salad with no croutons and my son had a cheeseburger with a gluten free bun. He subbed fries for mashed potatoes because the fries are breaded and they only had one fryer. I had the lemon basil chicken which was AMAZING and our server said that they could modify it to be gluten free. Highly recommend!

When I roll into a town as small as escalate I assume I’ll be living on fruit and kind bars. My kids and I were excited to find a place with real food willing to make accommodations for us. We ate here twice at my kids’ insistence. One server knew more than the other, but the kitchen seemed to get it. We all ate different things and no one got sick.

The staff was knowledgeable about celiacs and what to avoid ( fries used common fryer). I had the half rack of ribs with mashed potatoes (no gravy) and veggies. Good wine selection and some dessert options too.
