My daughter was sick with in 24 hours of eating there we told our server she was celiac and needed gluten free they first brought her salad with croutons and had to send it back don't think they care
not even close, want gluten free pasta? that is cooked in the same water as regular pasta. want fried food that is in the same fryer. gluten free pizza was cooked on a pan after we begged them to make an accommodation. dairy allergy person in group asked for pretzel with no cheese and plate had cheese all over it. we won't be back!
Had top sirloin steak, mashed potatoes, grilled veggies and a salad with ranch; all from the "gluten sensitive" menu. Notified server I have Celiac disease and I didn't even finish my food before I started feeling sick. When I verified my food was gluten free, they initially told me the Ranch is NOT gluten free. When I got upset by this news, the lady went to double check and came back to say it IS gluten free. If they could have given me a straight answer, I'd go back and not order the Ranch. As it stands, I can't say for sure what had gluten, so I will not eat there again!
They brought my burger out with fries on the plate that I didn't order. I asked if they were gluten free and the waitress didn't think so. She was going to just put the burger on a new plate. I didn't have much confidence in what was happening in the kitchen.
The waitress double checked when we ordered off the GF menu whether it was preference or not. Then the manager personally checked my daughter's order to make sure she understood what they were modifying to make it gluten free and why. It was wonderful, especially since we were there with a very large group.
I have eaten here a few times but this last time I got extremely sick. I usually order their gluten free cheeseburger and this time around they accidentally gave me a regular cheeseburger. I took a bite out and realized that it was real bread and it had thousand island dressing which is stated on their menu as being not gluten free. Within 10 mins I was miserable and had to go home. Not sure how you can ruin that so bad. Also, they changed their menu form 'Gluten Free' to 'Gluten Sensitive' which indicates to me that they really cannot cater to those with any real serious issues. Don't go there if you are a sick person like me.
Two strikes you are out. This is the second time I took my wife out and she got sick. We gave them a second chance and they served her a gluten bun despite requesting gluten free. They apologized and brought us another burger with a completely different bun. Their menu says gluten sensitive instead of gluten free now. I guess we know why. Never going again.
The staff at this location were not trained well enough to tell you about their "gluten free" options. They definitely didn't know what gets cooked where to know about cross contamination either. They even brought out salad with croutons and told my son it was his gf dish. He has Celiac and if he would have dug in, he would have had stomach pains for months.
They have limited Gluten Sensitive options but you have to be very diligent in ordering your food. One time we ordered a gf pasta dish after stating our Gluten allergy and the dish was delivered with Gluten tortellini on top of the GF pasta. The waiter returned the dish to the kitchen and the manager served us again with the Gluten tortellini. One another visit the GF salad cane with croutons which they quickly replaced. But the GF main dish was delivered with a Gluten side dish we hadn't even ordered. Had to return that meal to be re-made. I'm sure these are just careless errors and mostly due to staff not properly trained in dealing with allergens and cross contamination. Please eat at your own risk.
They have a gluten free menu and are knowledgeable of risks of exposure. They warn about cross contaminations when you are ordering. The time I went the server was very aware of the concerns and knew the questions to ask and foods to avoid. I've gone to another location and it was a totally different experience.
They do have a gluten free page inside their menu. Very good BBQ ribs. I ordered French fries and found out they were NOT gluten free. Our server came back just before our food was brought and he warned me and I changed to baked potato. Very good food. No gluten free deserts.
They have a gluten free menu. Went through all the precautions. Had a hamburger with a gf bun and a salad. Specified no croutons. My salad came out with croutons. They immediately replaced it when I pointed it out...but it makes you wonder if you'll get sick or not. Not great when you're a long ways from home. I did not get sick.
The Manager Bailey is also a Celiac and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. Service is always wonderful. The menu has a vast amount of items for a gluten free menu. However, it isn't laid out in a way that makes it easy to order from. They also list their fries and loaded potato skins on the menu and they don't have a dedicated fryer. Other than that I love this place and would recommend to anyone especially if a celiac.
I should've ordered the roasted chicken but instead ordered a steak off the GF menu. They refused to use clean water for the pasta so I informed them the pasta isn't GF then. I ordered only salt and pepper on my steak, the plain mashed potatoes and the salad with no croutons. After about 15 minutes completely done eating j had to run to the restroom and my DH hives started to come to service. 😭😫
Second time eating at a Claim Jumpers with our wheat allergic child, different locations. This time she had GF pasta with the Alfredo sauce, mashed potatoes, and apples with caramel sauce from the kids menu. The Alfredo sauce was listed as GF, however I asked our server to make sure it was not made with flour. She said the Manager verified it was GF. My daughter enjoyed her meal very much
So, the two appetizers are NOT GF!!!! My server informed me that they fry them in the regular fryer, (even though the potato skins said ROASTED)! The only dressing that is GF is the balsamic dressing! I asked about the ranch cuz its my favorite and server said no. My salad came out with a crumpled up receipt on it!! Good looking out staff, especially since i said I have Celiac disease and will get very sick if my food isn't prepared correctly. Our party of four didn't even think the food was that great. wouldn't eat here again!! Especially because of the false advertising on the GF menu!!!
They give me a toasted GF hamburger bun as bread. They have GF appetizers-chicken wings are my favorite. And they have pasta, chicken and steak. All are very good and very filling. They don't have seafood that's GF, but everything they have GF is good!
I was very nervous about trying out this place but I was pleasantly surprised! Our server happen to be gluten free, too, so that helped a lot. My daughter and I split a gluten free pizza and salad with ranch which was gluten free. Service and food was great!!
The were out of the gluten free pasta but the kids said the GF hamburgers were good. The buns seemed fresh. I had the GF salmon dinner and thought it came with mashed potatoes. I was brought two sides of broccoli instead. Rice or a Potato would have been nice. I don't think they are used to celiac but they were nice and made an effort.
RUDE!! I said i have a gluten intolerance, not only did they bring the wrong order twice (regular bun) but they had no customers at the time, AND THE MANAGER SUGGESTED I LEAVE AS TO NOT BE A BOTHER TO THEM. Worst. lunch. ever. If you have Celiacs or intolerance do not eat here! Manager asked how severe my intolerance was and if it was okay to have a little gluten. NO! its not okay. never ever going back.
Our early supper started out nice, asked about a gluten free menu and the server was very knowledgable about the handful of items they offer. They offer gluten free burgers, sandwiches, salads, chicken, steak, and fish but just beware you pay more when it is gluten free! Why should we have to pay more just because of being gluten free. Oh and who wants mashed potatoes with their hamburger?!?! No french fry option. Ended up with the Gluten Free Absolut Pasta and it was not worth is $17.99, I paid. On to the next place...
I am gluten intolerant and the food on their menu definitely is not gluten friendly. Within an hour I had reaction. It was great tasting food, just not gluten-free. I had the barbecue chicken sandwich, supposedly on gluten-free bread. I was assured the barbecue sauce was gluten-free. The only reason I'm giving it a two, is because the food taste.
Gluten free section of menus, with a decent amount of choices, including pizza. Warning of cross contamination on menu. Wait staff excellent, just let them know about allergies, intolerances (I can not eat wheat or onions as an intolerance). Tomato basil pizza (wheat free crust) was good. Tomatoes roasted, lovely flavor. Crust is decent, thin, a little crispy, but not too dry. Would definitely return.
Well I came here as an out-of-towner & I'm disappointed. The server seemed diligent about taking my order. They have a decent menu. My salad came and it was premixed with dressing and all and I bit down onto a crouton. I can see how it was missed but still unacceptable. If you eat here, ask that your salad not be pre-mixed -- dressing on the side and toppings VISIBLE. I have Celiac and I'm out of town. Great mix!!
