Waiter was very kind, but the gf menu items are not prepared separately and not at all celiac safe.

We had a good experience here, but if I’d read some of the reviews on this app prior, I’m not sure we would’ve came. My fiancé has allergies to wheat, dairy and egg and got a steak here and was fine. It was fldefinitely one of the sketchier restaurants we tried in terms of allergies. There just aren’t a ton of options

If you are celiac you should probably stick with a salad here.

My husband and I went to Claire’s in April 20 22. They have many gluten-free items marked on there menu and they do have gluten-free bread. However when I mentioned to the waitress that I was celiac it did not seem that she wanted me to have anything other than a salad. She said this is because they grilled the bread on the same grill as regular wheat bread, so on and so forth. It was not the busy tourist season when we arrived but it was over the lunch hour and was a little bit busy. So I wonder if you would get better results if you were not showing up at a standard meal time? Maybe then they’d be more accommodating to cleaning the grills & things.

Not sure why this place got such good reviews. Gluten free burger option was 2 hard pieces of bread, uneven in size for that matter and a burnt burger. Fries are not separate so don't get those. Everything else was horribly salty. So good sucked, overly expensive and service we terrible.

I eat Paleo, so was thrilled to find wild game meatloaf ... labeled "GF". I requested no mashed potatoes (carbs/butter) & they gave me extra veggies. Also did not quibble on leaving cheese off my salad.

We ordered takeout and had a very good experience; the food was ready when the restaurant said it would be and I was inside the restaurant for under a minute.
My partner ordered the Chicken Bacon Rigatoni and I ordered the Wild Game Meatloaf (large order). The Rigatoni was cooked perfectly and the entire dish was excellent. The meatloaf was very good, a delicious blend of meat, but my partner said that there was too much garlic in the mashed potatoes. There was an ample amount of food; the two of us had leftover meatloaf for lunch the next day!
The restaurant seemed pretty crowded, so if you have Covid concerns, we recommend ordering takeout.
The menu notes the GF items as well as those that can be modified to be GF.

I ordered a gf chicken sandwich with fries. It tasted pretty good even though they used gf bread instead of bun, but I got really sick after eating there. I would not recommend this place for Celiacs.

Food was my husband got the gf meatloaf and said it wasn't good. My daughter got a gf cheeseburger. They don't have gf buns so put it on gf toast. It was overcooked.

One of the better quality American food restaurants I've been to in Estes. Used gf bread instead of bun. Waitress knew to ask about fries as they are crispy so probably not gf.

This is a really great place! Good choice of GF food and very knowledgeable staff. Betsi was super friendly and always happy to help! Would certainly recommend this place.

I had a brand new server (literally his first day), but he roped in a more seasoned employee to help accommodate me. Food was fine and didn’t get sick. There aren’t many GF options though, just eggs, meat, and toast basically.
Yes
Great gluten free menu. Delicious food. Great wait staff! A ++++
The food is amazing! The breakfast menu is makes GF and they have gluten free bread you can trade out for the English muffin for the Benedict’s!
I was excited about trying this restaurant for breakfast while on my vacation to Estes Park, CO. When I asked questions about the food and how the home fries were prepared she said (and I quote) "it's 90% gluten free." What??!!! I asked that mine be prepared on a cleaned griddle instead of being deep fried. And I asked that the GF bread be grilled as well. I should have known better. Within five minutes of finishing my meal I had to excuse myself from the table. I had a terrible GI disturbance that lasted all day and into the following afternoon. If you are not sensitive to CC you might be ok, but I would not recommend this restaurant.

Basic gluten free breakfast options! The GF toast is ok! Two for one mimosas!!
Let me preface this by saying my 3 year old daughter has food allergies and I know that every time we eat out we are taking a risk. That being said, we were on vacation so we didn't have a choice. We did do our research to make sure they were able to accommodate her food allergies, and they were listed on a website of allergy friendly restaurants. I asked the server when we got there if she could check on the chicken tenders because my daughter is allergic to milk and eggs. She came back and said my daughter would be unable to eat them so I said "ok no problem, but she can have the pasta correct? It doesn't contain eggs?" The waitress said yes and we proceeded to order her food. The pasta came out and my daughter took a few bites and said she didn't like it. This was strange because she normally devours pasta. I signaled the server over and asked her if it was possible the pasta had eggs. She went back to the kitchen and lo and behold, they contained eggs. We rushed her out of there immediately per our anaphylaxis action plan, and left my mom there to deal with the server. Not only did they make us pay for our food, but they were extremely nonchalant and unapologetic. The server didn't seem to have any clue that she could have killed my daughter. It is clear to us that the staff is not properly trained on how to handle food allergies. The server should have immediately told a manager about her food allergies, and the chef should have been informed as well. They did pack our food to go for us and we were able to eat it later after everything had calmed down, but I learned later that our meal was not comped (they generously gave us a 20% discount 🙄), and when we called to discuss the situation they were still unsympathetic. They did say they would pay for any medical bills. I don't want their money, I want everyone to know that this restaurant clearly did not care that my daughter could have died, and they are an unsafe place to eat for people with food allergies. The waiter that served us should be fired. I will be sharing this on every platform I can find.

I was really excited about this place, and normally I don't give such low reviews, but I was sadly disappointed. The food took like 25-30 min to come, even though there was only like 6 other people there. It just wasn't as good as I thought it should be, especially for the price. I got a hamburger with gf bread, and a side salad instead of fries, and the flavor just wasn't there. It could have just been the time we went there. I did not get sick, however, and I have extremely gluten-sensitive, so that was good.
Great service and food. Enjoyed "the big breakfast" with gluten free toast. Recommend this restaurant.
eggs benedict with UDI'S gluten free bread was delish. comes with side of ranch potatoes, very filling! I am not Celiac, I had never heard the other comment that blue cheese is processed with wheat! We came back today for the same breakfast. We have eatten here many times, service always friendly .
Great place, tons of gluten free options. Service was great. The restaurant is comfy and easy to get to. It made me happy to have a gluten free club sandwich and I'm going back if I get a chance.
NOT gluten free. They put blue cheese on their so called gf salads and blue cheese is processed with wheat. When we talked to the waitress she just told us to take it off. They were rude and K ew nothing about gf.

Basically some salads and nachos. They do not like you to special order. Food was slow coming out, nachos weren't that great and the service was horrible. We had to ask several times for silverware.
The nachos were really good. The menu had specific notations on gluten free dishes.
