We waited over an hour and never received our food. The waitress was very nice but it wasn’t clear that the food was safe for celiac - we were initially told any of the sandwiches on gluten free bread are safe, but after inquiring further learned that many of the meats are braised in beer or, for example, the black bean burger has breading in the patty. The fryer was down, so they had prepackaged gluten free kettle chips but we never saw them as our food never came out and we had to leave for another event. When the fryer is working, our server did confirm it is contaminated and gluten-containing foods are fried in the same oil as the chips and fries. We felt bad about leaving, but did tip her and paid for our drinks. The atmosphere was great and I think they had gf cider on the menu, but otherwise it wasn’t a great experience and I’m not sure I trust the food to be gluten-free due to cross-contamination and staff knowledge and training. If we decide to go back, I’ll definitely update my review accordingly.
