They have a dedicated fryer, which is great, but I got sick from eating the steak sandwich with the Alouette cheese - after explaining that I am celiac & get severe reaction. The server was great, I think it was the kitchen who didn’t understand the severity.

Our whole family loved Clancy’s while vacationing in Cape Cod! We ate there many times during the trip. So many gluten free options, no cross contamination. Everything I had was really good.

LOVE THIS PLACE! staff is so awesome, nice, knowledgeable, patient (hannah waited on us). Our meals were so fast! Food was so good that we got additional meals to go for later! We will be back. Only complaint is that I wish they were closer to Boston where we live.

Atmosphere was very open with the view of the river outside the window. The waitress was very professional in treating us to GF rolls. This restaurant has become a tradition to go to whenever we are on the Cape. Their clam chowder was to die for.

I had my very first lobster roll made on a gluten free roll and French fries from a dedicated fryer. The lobster roll tasted awesome. Our waiter was very knowledgeable to gluten allergy and cross contamination. Definitely a great place to go enjoy a GF meal. Lots of choices on menu. I would mark this as one of my favorites of my vacation to Cape Cod.

Was very pleased with the gluten free options. They have many options that are gf, which are all clearly marked on the menu. One highlight is that they have gluten free rolls they put out with the meal (freshly made upon request). The also have gf sandwich buns. Gluten free pasta is also offered. I highly recommend Clancy’s for gf people.

Good selection on the menu, would like to see more options for non seafood eaters. But I went two days in a row. The French onion soup and sweet potato fries are AMAZING.

Amazing experience! Got the GF clam chowder and a fresh GF dinner roll to start. So fresh and yummy! The waitress was so helpful and knowledgeable about GF and went over what I can and cannot have. She even told me they have a dedicated fryer. I wish I knew her name but it was the best experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant since going gluten free and I cannot wait to go back to the cape so I can go to Clancy’s!

Dedicated fryer, knowledgeable server, and food was good. Had the lobster roll. The bun was fine (probably just Udi’s), but I give 5 stars for the dedicated fryer, knowledgeable staff, and large selection of GF items on the menu.

Awesome! 100% coming again. I told them I have Celiac and the waitress was very understanding. She even put in a gluten free roll for me (best one I have ever had). Tons of gluten free options on the menu - all of which were labeled. I got the chicken cari-Anne with gluten free pasta and it was great! Highly recommend and a great variety!

I would highly recommend. In addition to GF I am dairy free also. Our waitress was very knowledgeable. I had scallops with steam veggies and baked potato. They brought out a yummy warm GF roll. I would definitely go back. The waitress noted they could make everything but fried food GF and have a dedicated fryer for French fries!!

I got a cup of gluten-free clam chowder and a glass of water with a lemon wedge. Usually by my third bite I can tell if there's any cross-contamination or gluten in my food and I ate every last bite tasted good. Would go again

I am Celiac and this was a great restaurant for me!! I was given a separate warm roll which was great. The food was good and it came announced as "gluten free" which is always nice to hear. The other reviews about bad service don't seem accurate, our server was very nice and careful with my gf food. Would eat again here!

Visiting family and we had a large(r) party with many different palates to please and this place checked something for everyone including GF! They have a separate menu and just HAD to get a lobster roll (Finally!!). Everyone's food looked delish and our waiter was awesome! Even got a GF roll when the bread basket came out (separate obviously) without asking. My parents who are year rounders were so happy it's on their list for usual spots now!

Worst restaurant experience I have ever had!! The one star is for the food we did eat, which wasn't bad, but didn't make up for the terrible service!! Our waitress was snippy and very rude! We ordered GF Mac & cheese for our daughter, they brought her Kraft Mac & cheese (gross, and definitely not GF!!). When I pointed this out to our server, her excuse was " well, I told them gluten free"! She also failed to tell us that the chutney for the salmon we ordered was not GF, so it came out bland and disappointing. Never refilled drinks, did not know what she was serving, and she was nasty. Spoke to the manager and she said she would comp dessert. A gesture, cheap as it was. So we ordered 2 GF desserts to share among the 5 of us. She would only take off 1 dessert. Just amazed at the poor service!! We will never return to Clancy's!! Also, I see other reviewers talked about nice warm GF rolls. We were not offered any bread of any kind!! Terrible experience!!

I ordered the gf chicken piccata. It was phenomenal. My son tasted the pasta and said I should double check because it didn't taste gluten free. I told the waitress to thank the chef and she said that he has celiac. Atmosphere was good. They have a nice outside patio that overlooks salt marshes. I can't wait to go back next time I visit the cape.
