Review of Classic Cakes

The cake pops were delicious and the staff was friendly. I give them 2 stars because while the food tasted good, the place and food is not celiac safe. No dedicated kitchen area, no dedicated ovens, no dedicated bakeware or utensils. Only wiping down of the counter and washing of the dishes (which would still leave gluten residue) before use on gluten free items. This in itself makes the place not celiac safe, however it may be OKAY for those with intolerances or other medical conditions preventing them from eating large amounts of gluten. I ate the cake pop with high hopes and got my usual celiac-symptoms deeming this place NOT celiac safe if I had any doubts previously. I loved the staff and the snacks were delicious however unfortunately not celiac safe so if you’re celiac, please do not eat here. I would love to give them business myself because they are trying to provide gluten free food, however because I’m celiac I cannot. Almost a month later and I am still recovering from getting sick from this place. I do wish that they would not even offer gluten free options if they are not able to take the correct cross contamination/allergy protocol for these items. It makes it extremely unsafe for those of us who truly cannot have gluten.
