There is no gf only menu but it does say to ask about gluten free and vegan .. so we did! Our server check with the kitchen and came right back to let me know what was available. There was a good bit to choose from. Since I couldn't have the breads, he recommended the pappadam. It is made with chickpea flour and cumin seeds and was tasty. I had the vegetable bhiryani and it was delicious.

Man, I wanted this place to be OK so bad, but I was definitely glutened. Their menu states that they have gluten free options, but nothing on the menu is actually marked. I asked the server about it and got a very vague response. Ended up getting the chicken curry, but within a few hours started feeling very ill. Won’t be coming back unfortunately.

AJ is knowledgeable about allergy and celiac disease requirement for non cross contamination and accommodates for celiac disease and gluten intolerant folks. Answers Qs about which menu items and contains allergens happily.

Most except bread are gf.

Underrated establishment happy to accommodate for celiac. Even offered to make gf momos with two days notice — Unheard of and very exciting!

this is my favorite Indian restaurant in Frederick. A nice selection of gluten free. Very helpful staff.

This was always my favorite Indian restaurant prior to being diagnosed with Celiac Disease. I generally don't eat at any restaurants unless they have a GF menu, but I really didn't want to give up eating here. I talked to the staff about what I could eat and they indicated that they don't use wheat in most of their dishes (like curries and rice dishes). Obviously, the naan isn't GF, but I've had the chicken curry and chicken biryani several times and I have not had any issues. I generally avoid the lunch buffet in case of cross contamination, but I still love going here for dinner!
