11/2023: Back for another delicious lunch. Our waitress, Lacey, was fantastic, friendly, and very knowledgeable on gluten-free options and cross contamination in the kitchen. I enjoyed a modified vegan burrito with a side of corn tortillas. It was delicious!

My non-GF family enjoyed the fried chicken sandwich. We will return!

11/2022 review: Good food and easily marked GF options on the menu. Knowledge server, friendly service, and a clean bathroom. Menu offers burgers, salads, soups, grits, sides.

I ordered the Chef’s Grain Bowl with quinoa, arugula, warm goat cheese, sweet potatoes and a balsamic dressing. It was light, filling, and enjoyable. It had the option of adding a protein. Our waiter, Kirk, was great about confirming with the chef that it was GF safe.

The menu has vegetarian, GF, and GF* labels on roughly 1/3 the of the menu. Menu clearly stated GF* can be adjusted to be GF. I didn’t ask about fried tofu or French fries that were marked GF*.

Overheard a waiter saying their shrimp and grits are very popular and another table enjoyed the tomato and basil soup.

Husband ordered their fried chicken sandwich (with gluten) and said it was done right. He doesn’t typically like restaurant sandwiches, as he prefers his homemade ones, but he enjoyed this one.

We will be back, next time we drive through. Our previous go-to restaurant has since closed, so was thrilled to find this place, despite concerns with the old, mixed reviews. Give it a try!
