Just called, not going to risk eating. They toast buns on the same grill as their proteins. Shared fryer. If you get a salad, they will change their gloves. Doesn’t sound like I can get a safe full meal there, so not stopping by.
I appreciate their honesty. And they do have gluten free bread.
Loved this place before celiac, still love it now! Teeny little cafe; called in advance and staff were knowledgeable both on the phone and in person about celiac and the GF options. The menu isn’t clearly marked for GF and make sure you ask about any sauces on your order; the pork in their breakfast rice bowl contains soy sauce with gluten, for example (information which a staff person supplied without me even having to ask). Kitchen very visible from the register, and it was easy to hear the staff coordinating my order for no cross-contamination. Well-handled and about enjoyable meal.
