Not a lot of GF options. Two entrees, two appetizers, no desserts. If you are dairy free, it’s really limited. Mocktails and cocktails were good.

The menu marks whether an item is fully GF or whether the item would be cross-contaminated, which made me feel comfortable. However, our server was not knowledgeable (he asked me what celiac is). The food was tasty and they have a nice view of the ocean.

I had a great experience. I had the fish tacos, you cannot have the chips though so I got a seaweed salad which was delicious. My server put in that it was allergy and even confirmed when it came out.

Clearly marked menu. No GF kids menu options. We had the octopus, shrimp cocktail, fish tacos, and grilled asparagus.

Items marked GF on the menu are served with bread on top of them. Staff had to check and then said all fried foods are done in oil with breaded items. Stressed Celiac prior to order and still got bread on top of food. Manager comped the item but didn't seem to understand why items marked GF should actually be GF. Poor training. Would avoid.

We came to OC for a weekend getaway. Really great service and atmosphere at Coastal Salt. Plenty of gluten free and dairy free options. I ordered the Halibut with Clams and wild rice and veggies and Baja Shrimp appetizer. The wine list is good and reasonable as well. Definitely give this place a try!

Great food & server was knowledgeable about celiac being more serious than just ordering GF. I’m also dairy-free & this place identifies options for both. I had the crab Cobb salad topped with a filet & it was so amazing. Enjoyed it with a glass of Chloe rose Prosecco!

Gluten Free items on menu were clearly labeled. Waiter understood Gluten free dining and told us he would inform the chef of the allergy. Food was delicious. I felt very comfortable and would visit this restaurant again.

The GF options are clearly marked on the menu and the waitstaff was very helpful in finding me an adult beverage.
Options for gluten free on every part of the menu except standard soups and “small bites,” which looked like all sandwiches. I’m not sure if there is a GF bread option, but it was not noted on the menu. I got the Mexican cartel cocktail and caprese salad, both of which were excellent.
They have some interesting mocktails which was good for me as a non-drinker. The mock-a-Rita was tasty and not too sweet.

Gluten free items clearly marked on menu. The waitress came up and said, "Good evening. My name is ________. Do we have any allergies to be aware of?"
Yes
