I was disappointed in this restaurant. To start, we picked this restaurant because they are advertised to have many gluten free options, including specialty fries and chips. These items have a “gf” next to them on the menu. As it turns out, these items and a few others are NOT gluten free for allergies, as it uses the same fryer. Which is not the point of labeling it gluten free. They also have a section on their menu titled “There Will Be Gluten” (which already rubbed me the wrong way, making fun of an allergy), and it turns out that the section is burgers and sandwiches…which they have gluten free buns for?? Overall their menu is very misleading and I didn’t find the staff to be accommodating or understanding of my allergy. Only reason it’s not a 1 star is because I enjoyed the roasted brussel sprouts a lot 😂
I ate here and did not get sick. I took the previous reviews very seriously (people getting sick) and threw myself on the mercy of the server to help me stay safe. To reduce the chance of cross contamination, I ordered a hamburger and gluten free bun with asparagus. The burger was unremarkable, but the real win was not getting sick.
Although my server was very helpful, I agree with past reviews about this place not completely understanding gluten free. The chocolate cake is labeled as gluten free, but the description does indeed say "contains very little flour." WTH??
Ordered GF onion soup. It was excellent, also the chicken marsala. It was average - too sweet. Didnt finish pasta, started feeling uncomfortable. By next day I could tell I'd gotten glutened. I dont think they know what they're doing. Chocolate torte marked ad GF, but description says "contains very little flour". Don't think I'll return.
