I had a good experience with this restaurant a few days ago. Totally GF, and the food tasted good. I had the chicken burrito. The man who helped me was super friendly and kind. The yucca fries were great!! It was a bit pricy though.

Decided to edit my review due to the fact that this place just closed! So sad to see that.

This restaurant is 100% gluten free and dairy free as well which is great for people like me who also cannot eat dairy. The service was great and we were able to eat outdoors. The food unfortunately was just ok. It was overpriced and I didn’t find the food to be anything spectacular. I had the combo fajitas and the meat was overcooked. Nice ambiance but not worth the price for the food.

Food is amazing, margaritas are special, and staff are friendly and kind. Everything is dairy free and there are plentiful vegan options, but my friends with no dietary restrictions loved it, too. Highly recommend!

Food was tasty. Guacamole really spicy! I got a steak bowl that was really good and my daughter loved her bean and cheese burrito. It was pretty good - not the best Mexican food I’ve ever had but dedicated safe place means more to me so I was happy to have an option and I’d definitely go back. Very nice waiter helped us and was flexible ordering for my picky 2 year old.

Excellent food and service overall! All food is gluten free. Cocktails were ok. Server said some of the drinks are not gluten free, but couldn't say or find out why.

Our new go-to Mexican spot! My wife has Celiac disease and finding entirely gluten free restaurants is really tough. We've had Calavera 4 different times now and it's been so good and celiac-safe every time! The non-flour tortillas are fantastic and all the meats and sauces are so flavorful. We loved the chicken tinga burrito, fish tacos, and enchiladas divorciadas. So excited to have this place dedicated GF place to have amazing Mexican food!

The Enchiladas Divorciadas plate (cassava flour tortillas; one grilled steak, one grilled chicken) is an absolute favorite. Great to have a place to order delicious food without gluten or dairy, and to have a place to recommend to vegan/vegetarian friends as well.

I’m so grateful for this place. I’m a very sensitive celiac and I’ve never gotten sick here. Being able to eat a burrito with flour tortillas (cassava flour) is SUCH a treat. Food is delicious, and they have great vegan and non vegan options. We got the two taco plate with a steak and a fish taco and then then enchiladas divorciadas (green sauce was my fav). SO GOOD 😍
