CoCo Crêpes, Waffles & Coffee

The staff is friendly and patient (let’s be honest, it can take a while to work up the courage to finalize a food order when considering allergies). I got a gluten free crepe with mozzarella, caramelized onions, ham, and harissa aioli and it was PHENOMENAL. Their coffee is fantastic as well. I will be back next time I’m in Houston!

They have GF crepes for an extra $2.50. When I told them I was very allergic to gluten, they said they would clean everything. Shared pans, but thoroughly washed between each crepe. Very delicious food, but got sick about half an hour later.

Used to be great. The employees would even save gluten free batter for me. These new employees don't seem to understand celiac or wheat/gluten sensitivity. They have gluten free crepes and waffles. They ask if it's for celiac or a preference when you order. If it's celiac, they clean the kitchen before cooking. Just be careful when you order and double check your receipt. This has happened twice when I went in and they just gave me a regular crepe when I asked for gluten free. Sometimes when we order online, they'll call and ask if regular is okay when they run out of the gluten free batter. Food is great, just make sure they get your order right.

Would give this a 5 start rating but they NEVER HAVE GLUTEN FREE!! I always call before and the answer is always “no”. Super frustrating. Starting making the trek to the woodlands to go to the Coco there!

Excellent crepes, and extensive gluten free options. Clearly marked on menu and workers evidently made efforts to clean surfaces and change gloves (though there is not a dedicated prep area). Will be returning to try their waffle offerings!

Edit to add: went back several times and tried more of their offerings. Everything was exceptional. Met the manager/owner , who was next-level friendly and helpful. Coco Crepes is a Houston area must-visit for the gluten free traveler.

Absolutely impressed with this place!! Gluten-free waffles available, but not Celiac-safe. Crepes are gluten-free, Celiac-safe and DELICIOUS!!! Manager/owner VERY knowledgeable about Celiac and cross-contamination and was very patient with my son when ordering. Will definitely be back!!

AMAZING gluten free crepes! I haven’t had one in years, it was such a nice treat. They also have gf waffles and desserts. Highly recommend!
