This curry restaurant Can be found all over Japan and offers exactly one gluten and dairy free option. This curry is served in sealed packages to avoid any cross contamination. You can add a boiled / half boiled egg as a topping and make it spicier by adding shichimi togarashi (gluten free).. And At less than 500yen, this dish is not only yummy and filling but also incredibly cheap! This is my go to place whenever I can't find anything else and don't want to have konbini onigiri again. Last time, I asked the staff if they also sold the packages to take home (like some of their other curries) and they made it possible! Thank you, Coco!
What a friendly place! Only 1 allergen free curry available and came in packets that you then opened, and were aware to give spoon in separate bag which was great. Given that it was allergen free was an 8/10 for taste. Staff very friendly and was a great restaurant for non coeliacs.
This curry place is good for celiac. My friends had a great time and said it was delicious, they had a wide variety to choose from however, they only have 1 option for gluten free. I also asked for a salad without the dressing to fill me up a little more. The allergen-free option came in its own individual packet but was very tasty considering.
I went here today expecting something gluten free but they said they didn’t have anything. This may have been to do with the chef or maybe a change of menu :(
Coco Curry location that serves its 7 allergen free curry (wheat free). It’s a vegetable curry served with either 100 or 200 grams of rice. The curry is cooked in pouches and served sealed to prevent cross contamination. I added on a half-boiled egg, but you can add other toppings too (not all of them are gluten-free and adding toppings increases risk of cross contamination).
