We love cocoa beans! Great place to pick up fresh baked goods or a frozen meal!

LOVE this little bakery! When I was first diagnosed, I was lost! But this bakery has a bit of everything. Love their frozen section, specifically their GF chicken fingers. Since I cannot have lactose for the first year, they do have vegan/gluten free options as well. And the staff are so kind and knowledgeable. Love stopping in for their coffee and cinnamon buns as well! Feels so good walking into a place where everything is safe for my daughter and I!

All of our foods are made in a dedicated gluten-free production kitchen. All of our baked goods and freezer foods are gluten-free, many are also dairy-free and some are vegan. We don't use any preservatives or additives in our bakery.
We use carefully sourced ingredients to ensure you have the BEST gluten-free experience.
I absolutely loved coming to Cocoa Beans, but their restaurant is permanently closed. They now only have a small selection of baked goods, and freezer meals while they last. They said there is no foresight into reopening their kitchen. Only bakery left. Devastating!!
Had their gluten free perogies. Yummy. Also a cinnamon bun.

A rather unremarkable bakery serving mediocre food.

It’s so nice to have a place that’s entirely gluten free! But not all the food is great—I’d say about half of what we’ve tried after going there multiple times is pretty average or not something I’d order again.

I had a cheeseburger and onion rings. Both were good but I cannot say enough wonderful things about the onion rings. If I lived nearby I would have to buy bigger clothes on a regular basis. The place is dedicated gluten free but there was an alarming sign that their kitchen would be closing on August 1st. I had two desserts and both were very nice.

I happened upon this business through this app. It’s actually a little walk away from where I am visiting. I am SO happy I went!! Some things were better then others but I tell you, the blueberry fritter, coconut chicken salad and the artichoke dip we’re HEAVENLY! Definitely try this little shop out!

You can feel 100% confident eating here as a celiac and I love that. The food is delicious! I’ve had the deep fried onion rings, chicken fingers, fries, fish. I also love their muffins. Recently got a birthday cake from there, it wasn’t my favourite but the icing was good. Overall so thankful to have an exclusively gf restaurant in Winnipeg.

Love that this place is entirely gluten free (which is not common in Winnipeg), but the food is hit or miss and the prices are high which makes those misses that much more disappointing.

Highly recommend for lunch and coffee. Everything is GF. Dedicated GF kitchen and bakery. Locally/regionally sourced ingredients. Staff was delightful and the owner was wonderful to talk to. Recommend the BBQ Cauliflower Wings! Coffee is delicious and not tangy.

Gotta love anywhere that’s 100% gluten-free! Perfect place to stop for lunch and treats on our way through Winnipeg. The chicken fingers and fries were awesome. We also picked up a date bar, butter tart, and cookies to save for later. All three were delicious and nut-free! Our waitress was also very friendly and helpful to make sure our food was nut-free. Will be back!

When we come to Winnipeg we make sure to get a hotel nearby Cocoabeans. We always start our day with breakfast here and make sure to pick up some cupcakes and cookies before we leave the area. We are Celiac and it is a real peace of mind to relax and not have to worry about whether staff know what gluten is.

Love their vegan GF cakes! GF lasagna was good, I did not care for the GF chicken noodle soup. So nice to have a GF restaurant/bakery, I look forward to trying more of their foods.
