I was looking forward to attending this restaurant with friends as there were lots of GF items marked on the menu. I informed staff that I was a coeliac when I arrived but they didn’t seem to comprehend the importance. I also confirmed again that items I ordered were GF. This was a confusing process as some menus at our table had the GF marking crossed out by hand but not others. I realised within the next hour or two that I’d been glutened and I wasn’t surprised after the lack of comprehension shown by staff. Definitely not coeliac safe.
