Lots of gluten free options! While they can get a bit pricy they have gluten free frozen foods that I haven’t been able to find a GF version of since I developed my allergy. They also have some of the best gluten free bagels I’ve had, made with millet! I got the gluten-free tiramisu and it was delicious. They source from a gluten free bakery. They also have lots of gluten free cookies and loaves too! The deli has lots of gluten free food options, even mac and cheese, however I’m too sensitive to cross contamination to eat them. They’re in the case near gluten items and the kitchen isn’t designated gluten free. If you’re sensitive like me I would avoid anything not individually packaged. Overall if you are gluten free this store has lots of options and almost every item they sell has a gluten free counter part. It also supports local farmers and the fresh produce is amazing.

I have severe celiac and have never had a problem eating the co-op GF bakery items. I have only ventured to the salad bar in the mornings the moment the store opens and have been a-okay. I have spoken to a baker at the Cordata location who explained to me they keep the GF bakery items as far away from gluten as possible. I have seen first hand how they handle the food and am quite impressed. Those Tony-o-Rama bars (also Dairy-Free) are so delicious. A perfect treat with some coffee. *I have once been sick by the coffee at the Cordata location. I stick to the Decaf or the Italian Roast. In love with the Little Northern Bakehousr GF/Vegan Bread. Not the best PB&J bread but great for grilled cheese or toast.

Not only does the food co-op have fantastic gluten and dairy free foods, but they are socially responsible and have a wide variety of products that I love.

Has an eating area called Swan Cafe. Great deli! Good selection of GF salads and soups. GF rolls available but need to ask for them at the deli counter. Also GF desserts from cookies to muffins, and cakes to pies. Vegan friendly with many vegan options. Coffee bar for ordering lattes or fresh squeezed fruit/vegetable drinks. Store has one of the best selections of GF products in Bellingham. Also a Cordata location on Westerly Rd. near Costco.
