I LOVE the Colonial Inn! The food here is always delicious and reasonably priced with generous portions (a lot of stuff in this area can be very fancy and expensive), and extremely safe. They have a GF menu and everything fried is GF. They are well versed in allergen protocol and I’ve always felt super safe here. My local absolute favorite! Also dogs are allowed on their patio ☺

Really knowledgeable and kind waitstaff, dedicated gluten free fryer! Getting to have fish and chips felt so luxurious, and it was great.

Delicious, reasonably priced, good sized portions. Much of the menu is gluten free and marked as such, they have good protocols. Dedicated gluten free fryer!

One of my favorite places in the area, for such a small place they really go above and beyond with the quantity & quality of gf items offered. Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, amazing gf sandwiches. Wish I could come here more often.

I had the fish and chips for lunch out on the patio. The atmosphere was pleasant, the food was tasty, and the serving was huge. I confirmed they have a gluten free fryer. And I didn’t get sick!

Very crowded be sure to make a reservation. You can have fish and chips and fries at this restaurant as they have a dedicated fryer. They assured me that nothing contain gluten is ever fried in that fire. Charming, historic, and right in the middle of everything historic.

Food was phenomenal! Gluten free lobster roll was delicious, and had the same amount of lobster as a normal roll! As someone with Celiac I've never had a lobster roll before and I'm grateful for that experience.

The fish tacos (cod) and salad with chicken were delicious! For the gluten-tolerant, the Rueben was reportedly “the best ever.”

Was able to order gluten free fried calamari, fish and chips, clam chowder, and a chocolate torte for dessert, they also have gluten free chicken fingers for kids. They have a dedicated fryer and the fried foods don’t contain gluten.

They recently updated their menu and most items are Gf. Highly recommend the fish and chips! Was also able to get lobster bisque, and clam chowder. My new favorite restaurant. They also have two kinds of gluten free bread to eat with butter or oil
