Sandwiches were prepped in a common area on the same griddles.

Food was good, coffee was even better!
We went for breakfast, not sure how many customers had been there before us. You can see them cook the sandwiches and they cook it on the same small stovetop as the non gluten-free crepes, bread, etc.
We didn’t really have issues but if we had walked in during lunch I wouldn’t have ordered anything as it’s definitely not safe.
Also, as with most small cafes, it was on the steep side. For three of us it was almost $50, definitely a splurge.

Well done, friendly coffee shop downtown Ironwood. GF treats (brownies, monster cookies), GF bread swap avail for sandwiches, etc. Staff confirmed separate cook space/pans for GF prep, not sure about panini grill but they were knowledgeable so guessing sep as well.
