Convenient Vegan

I so wanted to like this place since I was told they had gluten-free options and obviously dairy free since vegan. My friend and I, who both need to eat gluten free, were not totally convinced that the two servers at the front understood. We both got the same thing - chickpea patty sandwich. Was disconcerting that we emphasized the necessity for our meals to be gluten free more than once. One server went into autopilot mode and proceeded to lay out regular buns for our sandwiches - he had to be corrected by the other.

The burgers were dry and I smothered a lot of BBQ sauce to moisten it out. I didn't dare ask for ketchup and just stuck to BBQ sauce for my fries. The collard greens were decent but this is one of those meals you need more water than the bottle one bought from the front.

I felt fine afterwards and fully stuffed. Next day I felt stomach pains and felt more tired as the day wore on. I think I now have Covid. I don't think I got it there but somehow the food didn't went up agreeing with me. I'm thinking my immune defenses weren't belief by eating the food eaten there. I'm so bummed.

Excellent CV Burger. Nicely seasoned. Large. Soulful Greens, better than my mom used to make. Vegan Mac& Cheese, creamy & cooked just right. Sweet Potato Pound Cake, nice & moist. Couldn’t stop eating it. Oops all gone! Warm cozy, friendly staff. A real Gem tucked into the Larchmere community. A Must Go To place for your family & friends. 👏🔥❤💋💕🥰😍🎉🎊
