Horrible experience, my partner ordered a wine and they were out so they recommended the red wine Petites Petites (which was not a la carte) and throw up and was felling dizzy.
We contacted the restaurant and an Hispanic manager didn’t care about our experience and didn’t want take any responsibility. Even worse he lied to us, he was supposed to call us back after talking to his general manager and never did.
I do not recommend to go somewhere that will make you sick and don’t even care. We spent more than $140 and this is how we are treated, that’s unacceptable. Run away from them
Came into Copperfox for a few happy hour drinks and a small bite to eat. I have wheat, oat, rye, barley, and malt allergies so selections tend to be limited. In this case, rather limited for items other than salads. However, our waiter, Tom, was really great and checked on dishes & their ingredients. He provided stellar service. I enjoyed a side of bacon with a side of grits. It hit the spot for a light bite.
Ok, this is the example of a true hidden gem in Chicago for gluten free. we just happened to be walking around Streeterville off the mile, and looking at the posted menu for potential gf, as all are aware of that process. There was nothing listed or coded, but the host saw us looking as they also have outside sidewalk seating, and approached us, which was cool. we asked if they had gf, and he said yes, they can do most everything gf. not a problem. sow e came back for late lunch. Itwas wonderful meal. it's a place that really cooks, and can easily adjust to meet gf. Host was knowledgeable, but more importantly the chef was on top of it and made additional adjustments, and checked with us for some alternatives.
