I went as part of a group work reservation and talked to the waitstaff when they came to our table and let them know I have celiac. The menu was pre-arranged and served family style but the one waiter went and double checked which items I could have. He made sure that one of each was prepared safely and brought directly to me so that I could serve myself first before passing those over to the group

I was able to have a salad, a tuna appetizer, and steak - all from the pre-arranged menu and without any modifications, except for extra careful prep

Also, one dish had waffle cut chips and another had fries. He let me know I could have the waffle chips but not the fries because they are fried in different fryers and only the one was safe

I am an extremely sensitive celiac and I had zero reaction! Plus it was all extremely delicious and was so nice to be able to actually eat in a group setting with my coworkers
