Everything in house is GF! We had the fried fish, onion rings, and cheese curds. 5/5 definitely going again soon!
AMAZING. We took an Uber for nearly 45 mins. just to eat here and let me tell you, it was WORTH. IT. We literally ordered like 15 things and they were all so good. Get the clam strips, fried pickles, spicy tuna melt, and Cajun catfish. You will be in gf fried food heaven! The staff is super friendly and welcoming as well. The bonus was the gf beer on tap and even homemade gf desserts. Will definitely be back the next time we’re in Portland!
Seriously soo delicious and such a safe place to eat! I got fish and chips with sweet potato fries and loved it! Very good options and knowledgeable and friendly staff and atmosphere! You won’t be disappointed!
Delicious fish and chips. I have been eating here for years and never had an issue.
Had no reactions after eating here, but do not recommend. Firstly, with my cup of chowder they brought out Oyster Crackers, WHEAT-BASED oyster crackers despite their advertising as ‘100% gluten free’. The bag was already torn open slightly and I could see crumbs on the chowder that had poured out before I got the dish. At this point I was so hangry I had to eat, so I tried chicken tenders and a couple tacos as well as bites of my friend’s onion rings. It’s food, alright, and definitely edible, but that’s about the best review I can give it. Wrote this the day after, post-hanger
Absolutely amazing. No issues at all. Try the fish tacos!!
As a celiac it’s always fun to get food that is rarely found GF unless you make it like fried fish and onion rings. Food tastes good, onion rings are usually falling apart but still taste good. Love the down to earth vibe. Have been to two of their locations, always a good time!
Excellent service and great food. I am the only Celiac in my family but everyone enjoyed their meal. My husband said his chicken tenders were the best he ever had.
Love, love, love this little place. It’s great to feel safe wolfing down beer battered fish and chips!
We go here everytime we visit Portland, it’s one of our favorites. I have celiac and have never gotten sick before and the food tastes amazing!!
Home made GF food. Options for kids.
Wow how long it’s been since I’ve had fish and chips. There were 7 of us and two have gluten issues. We are so much we hurt. We were even able to have cheesecake that was gluten and dairy free. Thanks so much.
What a treat for a celiac to be able to totally trust the food they set before you! We split fish and fries, calamari, and cheese curds. Because I rarely eat fried food and never while out, it was a bit of oil overload. Everything tasted great! If I ever get back to the region, I’ll definitely stop again!
We drove from the airport to Corbett’s and it was worth every bite!!!! Totally gluten free. Great fried calamari! Enjoyed dining here twice. Came back on my birthday for dinner. Happy birthday Eileen!!! We share the same day, thanks for the picture.
Whole menu is GF! Loved it. The calamari was perfect, fish tacos were great. My non-GF friend loved her prawns and clam strips.
All GF (except some of the beer and the oyster crackers)! I am originally from WI and I don’t know how they make their WI cheese curds taste better than that you can get in WI?!?! Great fish tacos. The fact that they cheer on the Packers is, for this WI born girl, icing on the cake!!!
Our go to place for seafood, entire place is gluten free with the exception of the small sealed bag of oyster crackers that come with the clam chowder. Great food and good prices!
Good food but be aware that they serve non GF crackers with the soup and have a bar full of non GF beers so there’s a risk of cc.
I can’t even begin to say how awesome this place is. I’m celiac and have been for quite awhile and I have not had onion rings since being celiac. They were so great. Non celiac hubby was just as much in heaven as myself. Had fried cod nuggets and we’re just as awesome. Not a fan of the tarter sauce, if you like a lot of mayonnaise you’ll love it. Has that hometown local bar kinda place. Will be back one day
A dedicated gluten free facility...what could be more celiac friendly?!?!? Even better, the food tastes great!
Dedicated gluten free restaurant with an amazingly large menu. Our family had fish n chips, beer battered onion rings, fish tacos, nuggets, salad and garlic toast. This is our favorite gluten free fish and chips place and we’ve been to many!
Delicious food, fun place. It was amazing to be able to have gfree fried foods without having to worry. The cheese curds and Halibut fish and chips were delicious.
This restaurant is the BEST They are so attentive to your food allergy needs!!!
100% gluten free menu, even with the beer battered fish! As a celiac it was my first time having onion rings in years. Highly recommend!
Love the GF fish tacos. They can’t be beat!
It's a treat to find great and safe deep fried GF food. Fish and chips and calamari were amazing. Fast and friendly service. A real gem. Wish we had one in Seattle!
Gluten free batter dipped fried foods. It's everything I've been craving since I found out that I couldn't eat wheat!
Fantastic meal! I enjoyed a starter, soup, meal, and dessert!!! So nice to get to order off the menu and have great food!! Wait staff was incredible too!
Never thought I would see a 100% gluten free fish house. Food was amazing. For the first time in years I was able to share dishes with the rest of the family. Wishing I had a place like this back home.
Great food and 100% GF. Even GF beer!
So delicious. What a treat to be able to have gf beer battered food!! Totally safe, I ate so much and did not get sick.
amazing food. entire menu is gluten free. I have taken loads of friends and family here and everyone loves it
First-rate fish and chips! The entire kitchen is gluten-free , and they have a selection of gluten-free beers, too. (Also some that are not. Be warned that some of the condiments that you can ask for, such as malt vinegar, are not gluten-free.) The wasabi slaw was fantastic too.
great food. crab chowder is my favorite
Love this place! The entire menu is gluten free.
We had to roll out the door! My daughter LOVES fish and chips and hasn't had them since celiac diagnosis 3 yrs ago! This place is the best! Calamari and chowders were delicious! We will be back definitely!
the fish and chips are delicious! service was poor, but it was football night and it was crowded. I'll definitely be back on a quiet night to eat again.
Great fish and chips (I recommend the gf beer batter). The entire food menu is gf so risk of cross contamination is very low. They are also very accommodating of other dietary restrictions. They have great deserts (including dairy free, vegan, etc.) and a wide selection of gf beers. They can be kinda busy (and therefore slow) but that's just a testament to their superb food and atmosphere
I was very excited about this place. The entire menu is GF. The batter they use for everything doesn't have egg or dairy in it either! I was able to eat onion rings, clam strips & fish n chips and you couldn't even tell it was GF. The fish tacos looked amazing too. Delish on every level.
Great food and service. Everything on the menu is GF!
I have Celiac and this is a fantastic GF place. I get the fish & chips. Yum!
I am celiac and this is my family and I's very favorite place to go. I highly recommend it, we have had great service every single time.
We live in Bend, Oregon and when we drive to Portland to visit family our first stop is always Corbett's. I'm celiac and I have been eating here for years without a single problem. Everything is gluten free, even the desert.
I have heard about this place for awhile but finally made it in today. SO GOOD. I had the chicken strips while my husband had fish and chips and a fish taco. Totally celiac friendly and absolutely delicious! will be a staple place to eat for sure!
They clearly state in several places on the menu that their food is gluten free. I had the fish n chips that were delicious and tried a Baja fish taco (GF beer battered) that was pretty good. Not comparable to southern CA fish tacos but decent for the PNW. The sweet potato fries were great and had a decent selection of GF beers and ciders. 24 hours later and no reaction for this celiac!
everything on the menu wad gluten free and delicious
Wonderful food, all gluten free. They do serve regular beer which is great for the people who are not celiac. I do have to caution though, the soup came with packaged oyster crackers that were not gluten free. I'm glad I saw them before my daughter.
Proudly named Portland's best fish and chips, Corbett Fish House doesn't mess around with their batter process. Using strictly rice bran oil, which is not hydrogenated and has no trans-fats, the delicately battered fish is fried to crisp perfection on the outside while remaining succulent on the inside. All batter is a light coating of brown rice flour, but they have recently started offering a gluten-free beer batter for a selection of fish. Customers can order the "Portland famous" fish and chips, of which they have five different options, or fish tacos.
great place for glutenfree, far from the best fish place but still good & worth checking out particularly if your gluten intolerant.
Entirely gluten free menu, what's not to love? The soup was amazing and so were the fish and chips.
