Best GF seafood restaurant ever. I could take a date there and it was always a hit. I keep wishing they (he) would reopen.

The local place where everyone knows your name! Fantastic staff and food! The entire menu is GF!! That can accommodate a party of six or eight but I would call ahead. If you want some excellent fried fish and chips run don’t walk right over!

Consistent quality and unique food, but it's not without issues. Expensive, and I always feel rushed and like I'm in the way there. That I'm taking up their time when they do talk to me, but that they'll ignore me and not make eye contact for forever between those "come on, come on...I don't have all day" interactions. Like rarely have I been offered a soda refill before I leave (drink sits mostly empty for a while).

They list what oil they use (rice bran) and standard coating is rice flour. They add gluten free beer for the beer battered version (costs extra but feels like normal fried fish).

Lots of options. I have soy intolerance since celiac diagnosis, and all fries are coated in soybean oil. Avoided them but think fryers caused soy reaction. If you have soy intolerance, like many celiacs, be careful here

Completely Gluten free and delicious, my dad who eats gluten said that the cheese curds were some of the best he’s ever had. They offered so many things that celiacs usually miss out on like chicken strips, fried oysters, and onion rings. Excited to return!

Absolutely AMAZING fish and chips. Had the half and half cod & halibut. Wish I could have sampled more of the menu but I was absolutely stuffed. 100% GF food menu. GF and non GF beer available, plus cider and wine. Probably the highlight of my trip to Portland last April.

The food was just mediocre. The onion rings didn’t have very much flavor and were pretty disappointing. The texture was good though, nice and crunchy. The salmon sandwich I had was half raw but otherwise it was alright. The gluten free bun was probably the best part of it.

AMAZING. We took an Uber for nearly 45 mins. just to eat here and let me tell you, it was WORTH. IT. We literally ordered like 15 things and they were all so good. Get the clam strips, fried pickles, spicy tuna melt, and Cajun catfish. You will be in gf fried food heaven! The staff is super friendly and welcoming as well. The bonus was the gf beer on tap and even homemade gf desserts. Will definitely be back the next time we’re in Portland!

Had no reactions after eating here, but do not recommend. Firstly, with my cup of chowder they brought out Oyster Crackers, WHEAT-BASED oyster crackers despite their advertising as ‘100% gluten free’. The bag was already torn open slightly and I could see crumbs on the chowder that had poured out before I got the dish. At this point I was so hangry I had to eat, so I tried chicken tenders and a couple tacos as well as bites of my friend’s onion rings. It’s food, alright, and definitely edible, but that’s about the best review I can give it.

Wrote this the day after, post-hanger

As a celiac it’s always fun to get food that is rarely found GF unless you make it like fried fish and onion rings. Food tastes good, onion rings are usually falling apart but still taste good. Love the down to earth vibe. Have been to two of their locations, always a good time!

What a treat for a celiac to be able to totally trust the food they set before you! We split fish and fries, calamari, and cheese curds. Because I rarely eat fried food and never while out, it was a bit of oil overload. Everything tasted great! If I ever get back to the region, I’ll definitely stop again!

All GF (except some of the beer and the oyster crackers)! I am originally from WI and I don’t know how they make their WI cheese curds taste better than that you can get in WI?!?! Great fish tacos. The fact that they cheer on the Packers is, for this WI born girl, icing on the cake!!!

I can’t even begin to say how awesome this place is. I’m celiac and have been for quite awhile and I have not had onion rings since being celiac. They were so great. Non celiac hubby was just as much in heaven as myself. Had fried cod nuggets and we’re just as awesome. Not a fan of the tarter sauce, if you like a lot of mayonnaise you’ll love it. Has that hometown local bar kinda place. Will be back one day
