Oh my gosh! ZERO risk of cross contamination! We were driving through Salem and happened upon Corbins! The rolls are soft and tasty. I had a delicious mocha cream filled puffed pastry that was flaky and soft. We took home a loaf of sourdough bread and brown bread (similar to a King’s Hawaiian bread). It’s worth the stop.
Went to Corbin’s Confections in Salem, VA, yesterday! It was absolutely fabulous!! Completely dedicated GF bakery! Everything we got was fantastic! Sorry no pics! It was gone quickly with three Celiacs in the house but my non GF husband and kids loved it, too! I spoke with the owner and his wife. The wife is a celiac as well as their grandson, Corbin. He was the reason they opened the bakery. We had fresh baked whoopie cookies, chocolate chip cookies in the Star Trek emblem sign 🤣, maple cake and cupcakes with cheesecake inside (colossal) as well as a loaf of bread! I can’t wait until we’re in the area again! Definitely worth a try!!!
OHHH my I’m in Heaven my daughter was traveling home and stopped by they were so kind and friendly genuinely caring! Scones, eclair, whoopsies, bread and this cinnamon donut Ohh My fresh, yummy and dedicated celiac friendly!!!! Thank You!!!
We stopped on our way through Salem as part of our Summer Road Trip 2018. Such a wonderful little bakery in a lovely college town. They were all out of bread by the time we arrived, but we snagged the last eclair - da bomb! - and several other treats to enjoy along our way. Absolutely worth a visit if you’re driving through or visiting the area. What luck the locals have! The owner-staffers were so friendly and offered travelled tips to help love on the road with a Celiac family a bit easier. ❤️🍰🍩🍪❤️
This place is amazing ~ you walk in, take in all the deliciousness and don’t have to worry about a thing! Safe ~ all of it! Their cinnamon rolls are to die for, cookies, cupcakes, and eclairs are very good! Their Carrot cake is melt in your mouth amazing! Highly recommend paying them a visit ~ You won’t be disappointed! A family member surprised me by ordering my birthday cake from them and it was a delicious surprise!!
Corbin’s Confections is a gift from the heavens! Wow! My first donut in a decade! I also tried a scrumptious cinnamon roll and cake slider. The owner was lovely and the entire staff was committed to making gluten free things taste amazing! So great!
Being a celiac, it's hard to come by desserts worth eating.... this place rocks! Cupcakes are incredible...I recommend the cinnamon maple! The biscuits are also the best I've had since being GF! The people there are friendly and always coming up with new stuff. Celiac heaven!
I was traveling through town and called to see if they were open. The bakery closed at 3pm and it was 3:15. They owner said come on over and we will let you in. Very nice owner and delicious food!! Will definitely be back..... thanks again. Will recommend
Such an AWESOME experience! If you live near this bakery consider yourself blessed. This bakery is the first genuinely good place I’ve been to. Passing through town and saw the reviews on find me gf and decided I NEEDED to go there. They are extremely considerate and knowledgeable about celiac and nut allergies. Finally I could order something without risk of cross contamination. You should definitely visit Corbin’s confections on your next outing. *Update* passed back by there today and it was an equally exceptional experience. Tried the “pumpkin pillow” and it was great. The kind people who work here make this bakery just amazing.
Amazing! Gf bread, elcairs, cupcakes, Donuts, cinnamon rolls, cream puffs, and more! Definitely worth a trip! So tasty and fresh! You don't even know you are eating gf! Owner and staff are so friendly and kind! We will be back!
This place is spectacular! My Daughter has celiac. We where only in town overnight on or way down south, but we would come back again just to visit this place. She chose a variety of bake goods and had me try each one because they were SO good! I would have never guessed that any of it was gluten free. The staff is great too, and even suggested a place for dinner that had gluten free options. Thanks for everything and hope to be able to visit again.
