Eat here on a regular basis with my family. Was just informed by the manager that a separate grill and toaster have been installed to handle GF orders.
Yes
First time we ate here was great - my daughter (celiac) ordered the pancakes and the waiter said they were prepped on a separate grill and in no contact with anything. 2nd time we ordered her GF toast - and asked about a separate toaster - but the waiter was way less educated on these things. A few hours later LO puked. So thinking it was probably the same toaster they make other stuff in... or some other cross contamination issue.
No
Tons of options here. Pancakes, sandwiches, it’s a really great option and they understand safe handling.
I’m pretty sure they don’t know what gluten is. It’s such a waste. They have gluten free pancakes, French toast, and toast. They said it’s made in a dedicated area. These are the only things you can get for breakfast. Asked for eggs, and was told they weren’t gf because they use Whole eggs. Asked for bacon, was told not gf because they use real bacon. Tried to explain and ask if they could just take basic precautions to prep in its own pan and try to avoid x-contamination. Nope. We got just the pancakes for my child, who pronounced them as “fine.”
No
Can't get a straight answer if this place cooks the gluten free pancakes on its own celiac safe surface. I suspect cross contamination. If the pancakes are cooked on same griddle as wheat pancakes it's not safe!
Their pancakes changed my life.
Yes
A diner with plenty of gluten free options thanks to their bread and pancakes being gluten free!
