I was so excited to go to a place that had extremely simple dishes (steak frites, moules frites, etc.) and I also felt really confident that their fryer was safe, since the only fried item on their menu was, well, fries. However, I was extremely disappointed to learn that they add soy sauce to their Au Poivre sauce for the steak. They asked if I wanted the steak without the sauce, which defeats the purpose of a $68 dish. This led me to distrust a lot of things on their menu that had sauces.
