I have eaten there for years and have not had any problems. I am celiac. I always ask, even though I know what I can have. Just in case there menu changes. I have had good luck with enchiladas without enchilada sauce. Good food!

The waiter discreetly clued me in that none of the food here is safe for celiacs.

Based off of good reviews we stopped here while traveling through the area and were sadly disappointed when the host staff and waiters gave us different information and assured “we would be fine”. We were getting different stories and asked for clarification. Another staff member came over and was not helpful either, the story kept changing and again assured us “we would be fine”. After hearing this we knew they had no idea what they were actually talking about ,and in the end we did not feel safe eating here and left. There is NOT a separate gluten free menu, the main menu is NOT marked with GF items. The chips are NOT in a dedicated fryer. In our experience this place is not safe for anyone with celiac.

Eat here a lot, now that my kiddo goes to UW. Great authentic Mexican food! So many gluten free options to chose from. Gluten free chips and salsa to start with. A must try!

The server was very knowledgeable about which foods on the menu are gluten free. Basically, their meats, rice, black beans, corn chips and tortillas, and most of their sauces are gluten free. We felt safe eating here and did not get sick.
Yes
Great food and they have a dedicated gluten free menu
Yes
The chips are fried in a dedicated fryer and there are so many gluten free sauce options. Heaven for a celiac sufferer.
I have always been able to find something gluten free here, but now they have separated the gluten free items for easy reference. As always let your server know of your condition and have them communicate it with the kitchen. They have been very good with me for the most part. I generally avoid refried beans and Salsa because I haven't been able to find out what kind of vinegar (if any) is used in them.
