NO LONGER SAFE. INTRODUCTION OF NEW MENU ITEMS HAS CONTRIBUTED TO CONTAMINATION OF FRYER AND SURFACES! Spoke to a manager. 4/6/24
I have eaten here many times! This is an incredible restaurant, and most of the food is gluten free. Staff is very careful and is Celiac-aware. I love the edamame, miso soup, fried chicken, friend mushrooms, and okonomi potatoes. Delivery is also great.

Really great food and atmosphere. most of the sushi is GF (with exception of spicy tuna and eel). My partner and I split a shared steak (also GF) that was great! Our waiter was also helpful when asking gluten-related questions. about the menu. I’m celiac, and it’s been several hours and I haven’t had any reaction!

Cotra is our new favorite neighborhood spot. Japanese Izakaya with gluten free Karage, sushi, appetizers, mains & some dessert. The drinks are amazing and the staff always double checks everything for my celiac. I react pretty easily and haven’t gotten sick the four times we’ve gone.
