Mmm my experience was fine. They were confident about what I could and could not eat. They had a list on the left wall where you order that they referred to on what is GF. I had a plate with pulled pork no sauce, coleslaw and potato salad. Those were the only two side options and I think the other meat option was brisket. They weren’t eager to help or attentive to my allergy. It’s about 30 mins later and I’m feeling pretty awful as I’m walking onto my flight. Seems like it depends on the staff to care. DFW has other better GF options IMO (Ling & Louie’s was awesome!) so I probably won’t be eating here again.
If you’re looking for GF options or celiac friendly place in terminal B, this is the best! Not to mention the food is awesome. And the staff understands celiac preparation and asked all the right questions. The potato, brisket, eggs, and sausage are all too good!!! I fell in love with this place.
Delicious brisket! Cousin’s does not mention GF options on their listed menu, but the wonderful staff was super-informed about how to protect us from exposure: changing gloves, cleaning and separating surfaces, and pointing out our GF and dairy free options. We’d been traveling for two days, stuck in airports with no options most of the time. We were so grateful for their thoughtful, knowledgeable staff. The food was awesome, too.
