Staff seemed to have no patience when asking clarifying questions on the menu. Claimed that things were gluten free on menu- however, no designated fryer, toaster or grill space. So things that are even labeled gluten free really are not gluten free… deciding to play it safe so I went with a side salad and a grass fed burger with no sauce just lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles with a “gluten free bun” that I asked to not be toasted to eliminate cross contamination. Came out and it was definitely toasted. Waited 20 minutes to eat it till I asked the waitress again to make sure (didn’t check in). Asked to clarify that everything was gluten free after being served a toasted bun after again explaining that I have celiac and that I can’t have cross contamination. They went back to confirm that they put the order in as gluten free and said kitchen staff made sure when they were making it… however our first waitress wasn’t very pleasant and I don’t believe they took the steps to actually make sure it was safe. Considering that this was the only place I have eaten all day and that I am in agonizing pain, among other immediate symptoms I can confidently say that I will never be eating here again and that it was not safe. Do not eat here if you have celiac or need safe gluten free food options. They do not take celiac or gluten free seriously. You should feel comfortable when going out to eat and not given attitude when you politely ask questions for your own safety.
