The owners have gone above and beyond to make items on the menu gluten free. My friend is very intolerant, and they offered to make their arancini gf for her even though that wasn’t the normal prep.

I’m done with this place. They have GF options on their menu but cross contamination is obvious. I’ve tried it twice, got sick both times.

Got super sick after eating here despite ordering gf pasta and being reassured they would use fresh water and be careful of cross contact. Really disappointed because I felt confident after talking to my server and based on other reviews. Besides this, the dish I got was just ok, definitely not worth it for the price. I won’t be back.

Have been here twice and have celiacs. Let them know that I have it and the food is amazing. Hard to find an Italian place that can serve great gluten free food. Haven’t had any reaction to anything so far and the menu is clearly marked too.

When I ordered my food on Oct 16, 2019, the menu was wrong on the Arancini having a GF. Sure I was disappointed that I drove 35 min to eat Arancini here and couldn’t have them - but more importantly, I depend on this app and the ratings and reviews from this app to know where I can safely eat and I promptly made my review to warm people with celiac disease that I trust to write honest reviews to help keep us celiacs stay safe eating out.

The owner of Cranelli’s ad I spoke while I was still there, which was very considerate to respond quickly - however she commented here and over the phone that it was the SAUCE that has gluten in the current flavor or Arancini —- that she takes GF seriously-yet I was told by my server they are rolling the Arancini in flour because they were falling apart in the fryer - the menu still says they are GF, which is not ok to have changed the item before changing the menu. When the manager came over, she told me they are rolled in a DOUGH- but could make me some without it—- BUT THEY WILL GO IN THE SAME FRYER.

Having eaten here three times before, I trusted that the owner has a family member who has to eat gluten-free and takes this seriously.... but I am not on the same page with how she handled this situation- and frankly left her Resturant with a nasty headache after trying to have her hear my perspective and understand me .... I believe others with celiac disease will feel the same that it’s dangerous to our health to change ingredients and add flour and still have a menu show something as GF.

This was not an isolated incident -

Another item we ordered that showed a GF was the chicken Genovese- and my server said it also has an ingredient with flour - but cold be prepared differently.

Many restaurant menus state that gluten free option are available - but these items are shown to actually be GF.

Yes, the manager called the owner while I was there - and honestly the owner seemed far more upset at me that I left this one star review without talking to her first, than she was about hearing someone with 15 years experience living this way - who wants to eat out safely - almost have ordered food that would make me terribly sick. I know when I eat out emphasize that I’m ordering GF, and I’m glad the server was well educated and told me I can’t have them.

The owner’s words say she cares- that she takes celiac disease seriously, but would she have her staff roll food in peanut flour that the menu shows peanut free and share that fryer with all customers? The manager said she has a peanut allergy and understood why I would be upset that the menu doesn’t reflect that the item is not GF- I suggested going to Walmart or Office Depot to buy stickers for the menu to hide the GF until the new menus are made- it’s THAT important to those of us who depend on our intestines to not be damaged if we ingest wheat. I’m self employed and don’t want to cancel on my clients because a resturant who has many staff members, some who are new, and of course who are human and make mistakes.

If it were just the sauce that wasn’t GF in this option, that is one level of disappointment- but to hear that these were are now rolled in flour is why I was so quick to add a 1 Star review and say that it is not a celiac safe resturant, and I depend on the honest reviews from other celiacs.

I regret spending $48 on food here - I don’t regret giving my server a 30% tip and thanking her for how she took care of me.

This is my last visit here and it’s a shame.

This is not a review but a response to Susan who gave us a one star review tonight. My manager called me to let me know that Susan was upset about finding out that she cannot have the arancinis because of the sauce it's paired with, We told Susan that she could have them gluten free however they are still deep fried in oil that has had panko breaded parmigiana deep fried in it. We always let our customers know when they tell us that they are gluten free about our menu and how we can accommodate what Susan has failed to mention is that we did speak with her we did do the right things we did want to accommodate and I as an owner even reached out to her so that we could speak and have a conversation, what restaurant would ever do that while they are still eating and dining in the restaurant... I just love that you stayed and enjoyed your meal! I want all our new AND current guests to know that we take gluten free VERY SERIOUSLY! I did tell Susan that we are going to change the menu so it actually has on their"can be gluten free" Apparently that was not enough. I am very passionate about my family restaurant and we did not get to be almost 6 years old by being anything less than that so that is why I am taking the time to send this response even though I could not do it directly to her review. I welcome anyone to call me directly on my personal cell phone to speak with me about our menu because I am open and transparent about everything #720 934 6220. thank you for taking the time to read, Lasinda

Great vibes, great service, and clearly marked GF menu. No dedicated fryer, but still tons of options. Little bit of a wait, but totally worth it and the front patio is open with cornhole and they can take drink orders while you wait. The owner Lasinda is super friendly and accommodating, and clearly rubs off on the staff!

The staff was fantastic and their gluten free options are amazing! I had chicken piccata and the only comment I have is that the sauce is just a touch too lemony. Otherwise it was delish and my husband had a sandwich that looked and tasted like heaven. Very impressed! They even give a blanket to you if you are on the patio and it’s chilly! How cool is that?

Wow. Servers were super knowledgeable about celiac. The menu identifies GF choices (pasta dishes & desserts) but our server informed us one of the GF items wasn't ok for celiacs due to cc from a shared fryer. Food was amazing & staff was all amazing. It is pricey but worth it.

Found this little restaurant on the Find Me Gluten Free app. The owner, who greeted us didn't even know such an app existed! Ordered the Chicken Marsala, hubby got the Baked Penne, and kids (3) shared the Marinara pasta. They split one full order 3ways for me. Most of the pasta dishes can be made gluten free, but only in the "full size" order. Add $4 But there pasta is locally sourced from Sweet Escapes, and is a fresh/frozen product. Good stuff. They also offer gluten free desserts. It is a little loud, but in a good way. You are not bombarded by loud music, just by the folks conversations. I'd recommend it. Here is a link to the company that makes the pasta. http://www.sweetescpastries.com/ Enjoy!
