Crate Restaurant

We felt so welcome when we walked in for our last minute phone reservation. Katrina waited on us and I had grilled white fish (with beurre blanc on the side which I didn’t eat as I don’t eat butter) and a medley of finely chopped and roasted Brussels sprouts, asparagus, carrots and fingerling potatoes which was excellent. My husband got the Friday fish fry of cod in a tempura batter and fries with coleslaw. We would definitely return to Crate.

The gluten free items were clearly labeled on the menu. They also provided us gluten free soy sauce. My partner and I are both gluten free. We loved the pork belly ramen!!! It was very, very good! We also got some sushi that we enjoyed as well. We felt safe eating here.

I was so excited to see they had gluten free ramen! The broth was amazing and I was in awe of how good the noodles were—I even had to ask what they were made out of because the texture was so close to wheat based noodles!

I have enjoyed this place many times! They have a lot of options for GF right on the menu and the server brought over their GF soy sauce for me. Great service and very aware of my GF need!

Enjoyed the sushi very much. Quite a few Gf options so I was pleased. They had GF soy sauce too. Service was good but food took a long time to come out - but they were short handed like everywhere else.

Talked to our server and asked what sushi I could have that was gluten free. He first asked me if I was Celiac and then made recommendations. They have GF soy sauce as well.
