Usually, in the summer, they will accommodate a GF person. In winter, due to the amount of people (which isn’t even close to Vail or Breck) they cater to the masses and NOTHING on their menu is GF, this includes Umbrella Bar and Paradise, really anywhere on the mountain. Meanwhile, Vail and Breck who have WAY more people still, are able to provide many GF selections on their menu, including fries. All my 8 and 5 year old wanted was GF fries that they had in the summer, nope. Not available in January. Just be ready to ski without eating at the mountain like we have for the last 4 days.
— Not at all
— No gluten-free information on the menu
— Not Much/None
Do NOT eat here if you eat gluten free! When we made advance dinner reservations at this cabin on top of Crested Butte Mountain, we were assured that the chef could prepare something safe and gluten free for our 9 year old Celiac daughter. Instead, after we got up the mountain with our extended family, the manager very rudely informed us that there was nothing gluten free for our daughter to eat (even though our reservation noted on her paper that we needed a gluten free meal), except for a hot dog without a bun. We would still have to pay the $100+ reservation price for her hot dog! And then the manager told us that we had to pay $200 for our family of 4 to be taken back down the mountain to eat somewhere else. Ridiculous! I do not recommend this place. Their manager was rude and my daughter left the restaurant sobbing. Would give 0 stars if possible.
