Update: received an email from Alexis the manager. See below.
Although we make every effort possible to accommodate allergies, we are not a gluten free restaurant. We do offer items that do not have gluten as an ingredient, but gluten is airborne. Therefore, we are not a GF certified facility.
I've had celiacs for over 20 years and never have I had airborne gluten as an excuse as to why there was cross contamination. Maybe the sauce isnt made with all gluten free ingredients?
Either way I was sick on my last day of my vacation and receiving the email above was a slap in the face. Do you even understand that for almost 24 hours a person who has a reaction can't eat.
Ate the bananas foster french toast and got sick. I have celiac so its not just a diet choice.
