Review of Crown & Anchor British Pub

Rob the bartender was SOOOO HELPFUL & explained that they have a fryer for their fries because no one wants fries that taste like fish! I'm soooo super sensitive that the second even the most tiny mmp gluten particle enters my mouth, I instantly feel like I've got razor blades in my mouth! These fries are soooo amazing and I'm so thrilled to have a kitchen that understands the EXTREME ALLERGY and is forthcoming in their practices behind the kitchen doors. I"m also impressed by their bartender Rob's wealth of knowledge about cross contamination, etc! I've been coming here for 8 years with great friends but only for a drink after a long day or bike ride and NEVER considered having food here until I spoke with Rob and he assured me of the safety of the food!I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this establishment for the most severe gluten allergies as well as all celiacs! You're SO SAFE HERE! I am going to stop by at least once a week for the amazing steak fries GLUTEN FREE - I miss that! Thanks to Bartender Rob & MGR June! 💥✔💥
