This is by far my favorite GF pizza in town. Love that they have a breadstick option and even a deep dish option.

Since being diagnosed with celiac I have missed Chicago deep dish pizza and thought I would never have it again. So I was thrilled to find that Crust 54 had gluten free deep dish pizza chicago style! I went there last night and had a great experience. It is easily the best pizza I’ve had since going gluten free! The sauce is incredible and the crust is pretty good! My mom who does not have celiac even thoroughly enjoyed it. They only have one size for the gluten free deep dish (9”), but it was plenty for us and we were only able to eat half. Be prepared to wait 45 minutes to an hour for your pizza (around the same amount of time Chicago style pizza normally takes), but it’s absolutely worth it!

The first deep dish pizza that I’ve been able to eat since I got diagnosed with a gluten allergy! Absolutely incredible. It was so delicious, and I would go there every day of my life if I could. 10/10.

Wow... this was a VERY bad experience! We ordered a gluten free pizza and one regular one. They brought them both out and could not tell us which one was gluten free. The girl tried to guess š± and came back to tel us they were both regular pizzas. I’m celiac and that was a huge mistake!!!! They gave us our meal free but I’ll never go back and you should ask yourself if this is worth the risk. They also over charged us for drinks. Unacceptable mistakes in this day and age.

They put a circular piece of cardboard on the bottom of the pie before cooking, greatly reducing the risk of cross-contamination.
The pie I received was excellent, and that’s putting it lightly. The pie itself was sized so that a group of two could easily finish it without many problems. The overall taste of the pie was superb. The only thing I would do differently would be to cut the pizza into triangles instead of squares, but hey, that’s just my preference.
Overall, I enjoyed my experience at this pizza place. 10/10, would eat again.

They have THE BEST gf crust and handle safely for celiacs. We eat there and have never gotten sick!
Yes
Deep dish spinach feta was delicious and no bad reactions at all (I'm not celiac but very sensitive)! Highly recommend.
GF Deep Dish pizza was delicious!
Yes
The thin crust GF pizza crust is homemade and very good. Not cardboard crust from the freezer.
One of my top two or three GF pizza crusts anywhere.
Yes
Ordered a GF deep dish pizza. I tested it with my nima and the result was "gluten found." The wait staff was nice and refunded my money. Seem to have a decent process in place but something went wrong.

Do yourself a huge favor and eat here! We had a deep dish gluten free pizza and it was THE BEST pizza I’ve ever had. I am extremely sensitive and I had zero reaction. Every employee we encountered was helpful and courteous. For a celiac, deep dish pizza is a real treat. If you are in Holland, this should be your first stop!
We also had a great experience at Crust 54. I got GF Chicago style deep dish pizza. I had never had deep dish pizza and it was delicious. Better yet, I didn't get sick and I'm highly sensitive celiac. The cashier informed me that it would take about 35 minutes to make, but I wasn't in any hurry and it was well worth the wait.
Best pizza in Holland, they are very conscious of cross contamination. Have eaten here many times when visiting and never get sick. They even have gluten free deep dish!
Yes
This gluten free Chicago style deep dish pizza was amazing!!!! I haven't had thick crust pizza since going gluten free. I waited until the next day to post this to make sure I didn't get sick, and I did not. The young lady that worked the counter was super friendly and attentive! Awesome experience! And seriously, awesome awesome awesome pizza!!!!*
I'm not Celiac, but on a gluten free diet for heath issues. not sure about celiac friendly. Pizza here was great! I got the GF Chicago Veg with Dairy free cheese. Customer service was okay, very grumpy about my 'special' order.
Amazing food with friendly helpful staff. Separate prep area. They also have vegan Daiya cheese! We got both the thin crust and deep dish pizzas and both were delicious! They make their own crusts for both. The thin crust is still thick for gluten free! Everything was delicious!!

Owner stated to me that their gf pizza is not safe for Celiac as of early 2016. Suggested I do not eat there.

This is fantastic gluten-free pizza! Better than any GF I've had in Chicago. Even my husband agreed. I've never had any issues with cross contamination, but we try not to come during peak hours. There is a longer wait for the deep dish, so we bring card games to play while we wait.
Yes
Very tasty gluten free deep dish pizza! They make the crust in house and are very knowledgeable and informative about safe menu options. They did disclose the risk of cross contamination but are very careful to keep it as separate as possible. The customer service was impeccable. I would highly recommend this place!
It was wonderful to have deep dish pizza; it's been years! Great tasting sauce and the cheese was awesome. The gfree crust was crispy and no ill effects!
I love this restaurant!! My daughter and I both get sick from cross contamination and we eat here with no problems. The gluten free pizza is the best we have ever had. Even our non gf free like it. They have a separate prepping station for gf.
As I walked down the street to my car the pizza smelt amazing. For being gluten free it actually had great flavor. I wanted so bad for it to have worked out however there was cross contamination somewhere in the process, and I got extremely sick. Not safe for celiacs.

I have a severe gluten allergy, but I love pizza. This place has amazing gluten free pizza! The Chicago and regular style pizza are amazing gluten free. The only bad thing about it, is that it SOMETIMES takes a while to cook. I waited 45-50 minutes for my pizza, but that's because I asked them to be very careful about cross contamination.
Yes
Tasty GF pizza. Staff is very helpful and accommodating. GF pizza gets baked on same rack as other pizza but if you ask they will put it on foil or a pan to bake.
Yes
Great gluten-free deep dish pizza. No cross contamination issues. Also have vegan cheese options.
They did a great job with our deep dish GF pizza. Impressive!
Yes
Great GF DEEP DISH. Be aware that it takes 45 minutes to bake a deep dish pizza. Not a problem with so many cool shops to kill time in. The best sauce we have ever had on a pizza. Picky daughter devoured the regular flour version, too.
gluten free deep dish pizza YES! I got "the carnivore" ham, pepperoni, sausage.... FANTASTIC! very good pizza. I will eat at Crust 54 again when I am in the area.
The best gluten free pizza I have ever had. It was excellent. Someone else in our group had the gluten free pasta and said it was good as well.
Best gluten free pizza I have had to date, and available in deep dish!

Very good even with the fake cheese it was still very flavorful.

I have Celiac Disease and never got sick once. I have had their pizza multiple times, deep dish. It's awesome, a bit salty unless you stick with just cheese.

Yes, the GF crust is a bit crunchy/chewy - but WAY better than frozen that you find at other places. They make it fresh. Went easy on the cheese and that was a good idea. The side salad was great! Thanks for providing a great option for eating downtown Holland.
The crust on the GF thin crust pizza was crunchy and amazing. They also offer GF deep dish! The staff was so nice, helpful and knowledgeable. Loved it!!!
Yes
With both former and present owners, spent nearly $15 for a small G/F pizza and got sick both times. There must be contamination with gluten somewhere in the process, as I am not usually so sensitive.
GF Pizza was not good at all. The crust was very hard and the flavor wasn't good. I don't think that I would order from Crust 54 in the future. Very disappointed!

Was careful to let them know I was very sensitive, but got very sick afterwards. Certainly not safe for celiacs.
