Tried their gluten free carrot cake today. I have celiac with moderate symptoms when glutened and I had no side effects from eating here so I am assuming my treat was indeed gluten free.

*Still be careful as they can't eliminate any chance of cross contamination* but I lucked out (I can never make it to Origins when they are open and have been craving carrot cake badly and so far have not been successful with gluten free home baking so I took a risk).

Carrot cake was good but tasted more citrusy than carrot cake-y. Moist and not too dense.

— Good

I would start by saying that this is a great local Victoria bakery. I highly recommend it for anyone who doesn’t have any gluten restrictions!

But I don’t think it can by any stretch be considered a gluten free establishment or safe for celiacs.

This is a full service traditional GLUTEN bakery. There is no separate area or measures to prevent cross contamination that I am aware of, so if there are any products being sold as gluten free, I would not consider them recommended for those with celiac disease.

Again this is a great local bakery! Please support it if safe for you! But the reviews on here are somewhat misleading and I would not want anyone from out of town to be misled into thinking this is a gluten free bakery.

There aren’t too many gluten free options, but the ones they do have are some of the best pastries I’ve ever eaten! Get the GF double chocolate pistachio cookies and enjoy the best cookie you’ve ever had 🙌🏼

On the online menu I saw no gluten free options. Not sure why it's listed or how I would determine what to order. Bummed as I know their baked goods are delicious

They have about three to four GF items that are so delicious. The GF carrot muffin has so many tart cherries baked in and incredible frosting. So good!
