Crust Bros Pizza Waterloo

Highly recommend Crust Bros! My pizza was delicious. The manager and serving staff took extra precautions with my pizza prep. I felt they took Celiac seriously. Always a bit of a chance to be exposed in a pizza establishment but think they did a good job. And they have Peroni Gluten Free beer!

Tried the GF base and had artichokes, ham and mushrooms yet somehow it still wasn’t GF and I was unwell after- such a shame but they do say there is a risk of CC so can’t really blame them! Pizza was DELICIOUS and flavourful and there was so much to choose from (you do build your own pizza) staff were lovely, as soon as I asked about GF the waiter corrected me when I chose non GF things eg. The spicy mayo and green pesto base for the pizza - who knows what set me off at the end of the day, it was a GF base though and if you are not too sensitive I would give it a go as it was a delicious meal

The pizza was delightful, although the service was a bit questionable. Our waitress seemed unenthusiastic and it took quite a while to receive our food. However, considering they were exceptionally busy at the time, it was understandable.

Not coeliac friendly.

Popped by after reading reviews on here. Spoke to the owner/chef who was lovely and very informative (THANK YOU!). Due to the small kitchen, large amounts of flour and shared utensils for shared toppings, the chef politely suggested not to dine as the risk of CC is too high for those with coeliac. If you are intolerant and happy to have some CC, the pizzas looked amazing and the staff were very kind :)

Visited after a failed attempt at a different location where we didn't feel safe. Was immediately reassured by the manager on how they reduce the risk of cc and we felt a LOT safer. The pizza was delicious, the service was a bit iffy (our waitress definitely gave the impression of wanting to be anywhere else and it took a long time to get our food) but they were extremely busy at the time so it wasn't a big deal. The only slight complaint we had was that it was SO deafeningly loud in there (loud music and 3 parties going on) that we gave up trying to talk to each other after the first 20 minutes! 🤣

Staff were very accommodating to our son’s GF needs (celiac) and he said it was the best GF pizza he’s ever had

Really good GF crust that is cooked in a shared oven, but on a metal tin to prevent cross contamination. I got nervous the crust was not GF because it looked & tasted so normal!

Amazing gluten free pizza, with gluten free beer. Even as you get to the end of the pizza it hasn't gone hard or stoggy. My other half tasted and even said was good! For once I didnt have pizza envy! The server checked if I was a celiac or its due to intolerance (the later for me), they still use a 'metal plate' in the pizza oven to reduce as much cross contamination risk as possible (they have a warning that its not a completey gluten free environment)
