Review of Crystal Fish

Absolutely fresh and wonderful sushi and seafood. Best Japanese (in my opinion, and my husband is Japanese American) in the Monterey area. We come here often. I bring my own tamari and avoid anything with soy sauce, breading, or wheat noodles, and have had no problems. The sushi, sashimi and maki (rolls) are exquisite. They will also substitute brown rice for white in their bento boxes and rolls. Lunch is a bargain, although it can be busy (and usually busy for dinner,too). Busy is good because it means the fish doesn't sit around long. Service is very friendly though servers can be stretched thin at peak times.
