Great experience here. Server was knowledgeable about gluten and celiac. They said everything except for one ingredient in an item is gluten free. Very tasty and unique food. Would definitely come back to try more items. The scotch egg is highly recommended! I enjoyed their gluten free churro too!
I’ve eaten here many times and always loved the food. I think they’ve recently switched to a fully gluten free kitchen. I planned my work holiday dinner here and spoke with the owner who informed me there is no gluten or risk of cross contamination in their kitchen. I also verified with the server.
Oh my gosh, I am still thinking about the tacos. We started our trip to Vancouver here and were not disappointed at all. We got the fried cheese taco (it had a fancy name like saganaki), the cauliflower one, and additionally the fried chicken ones. All were so different and definitely artisanal and worth the visit. The only gluten was a fish.
One note: the surrounding area has a lot of unhoused people lining the streets - they don’t interact with you.
Lots of gluten free options here! Right now, the sablefish is the only thing on the menu that isn’t gluten free (it can still be modified though). We did the family-style tasting menu which can be modified for any allergies. Everything was delicious (especially the gluten free churros) but the only thing I would say is that if you’re looking for authentic Mexican, this place isn’t that.
great menu with lots of gluten-free (corn) options. Went here for dinner and loved it.
A little pricey. I spent about 35 on dinner. But I was hungry.
It’s tapas-style so you can try lots of things.
2/3 of the menu is gluten free and the remaining items can be adapted. Basically only two dishes we could not have. We are severe celiac and have now been 5 times and have never been ill. The place is set up to handle celiac right from the start. The order is tagged by the kitchen on the computer and also by the server. The food is delicious.
