Culver's is always delicious! You can get an Udi's gluten free bun for $1 extra or just have the burger without. No gluten free fryer. Custard is gluten free! They also have a pamphlet available that gives information about gluten ingredients. Servers are almost always knowledgeable!

Very friendly on the phone and in person and knowledgeable in answering questions, dedicated fryer for fries and it gets cleaned daily. So it should be pretty safe although they won’t guarantee it. I know they also have gluten free buns that come pre-packaged so you know they haven’t been touched.

They use the same fryer for all items so you cannot get fries. If it is close to lunch time either before or after (11am & up to 2pm) you may have to wait around 25 minutes, they warn you. I like getting the basket unless eating inside as the buns are microwaved and get hard quickly.

They did such an amazing job!!! We were passing through and stopped based on reviews on here. The workers really seemed to understand cross contamination and had a process in place to keep things separate. I had a cheeseburger with a GF bun, and a chocolate shake. No gluten reaction. Heaven!!!!

They have gluten-free buns, but poor order accuracy (there have been various errors on multiple occasions.) On the last visit, they forgot my fries, so the cashier grabbed one from the top, bare-handed, and dropped it in the bag. I questioned why he didn't have gloves on, especially since he went right back to the register. He replied, "we don't do that at this restaurant," and "they make us wash our hands a lot." This is in stark contrast to other Culver's restaurants that bring out a specially colored tray while wearing gloves just to carry the tray!!

Be careful if you order a concrete mixer. On three separate occasions I have ordered a mixer with M&Ms and Reeses cup, which are gf candies, but have found cookie dough in my mixer! After the 2nd time of the mistake, I gave them one more try. On the 3rd occasion I alerted them of my gluten intolerance and told them what has happened in the past. They seemed very concerned but it still happened. I took it to go, so when I found the cookie dough near the bottom of the mixer, I was extremely upset! I called and talked to the manager. He apologized and he offered me a free mixer for the next time, I told him no because there won't be a next time at this location. He said that he will look into their process to see why it keeps happening, but I don't want to be the guinea pig to find out! So, just be cautious!

When I arrived, they were kind at the counter too and when I explained that I had celiac and was new to it, the young man went out to the lobby and got me a very helpful brochure that addressed safe food for different health issues. It was a great little 4th of July dinner with my dad and husband. I was extremely impressed with the classy way I was treated!

This is my go-to place in this town. Gf bun always warmed and remain sealed to prevent cross contamination. They offer Burgers and grilled chicken sandwich. Chili and broccoli cheese soups. Cole slaw, applesauce, mashed potatoes (w/out gravy), and green beans as gf side options. They also have m&m, snickers, and Reese's concrete mixers--I've never had an issue with cross contamination as long I tell them "wheat allergy" and it's on order. They can also make your own variation of a mixer if you prefer, and I've never had issues with vanilla and chocolate shakes I've tried. Their website lists allergens, however, they do not have a dedicated fryer so fries are not gf but listed as such on website. General Manager here cares and trains staff. Love this place!

When ordering GF at counter, clerk asks if GF is a sensitivity or intolerance and enters on your order. GF celiac (“intolerance”) means they will take extra steps to avoid contamination. Burgers are very good and served with the GF free bun in a sealed wrapper for you to assemble yourself. Their website has comprehensive Gluten information for all their products. Note: deep fried foods are NOT GF. Overall, a pretty good fast food option for burgers (with lots of topping options), salads, chili, and frozen desserts.

I was trying to order a burger with out a bun and the sweet lady taking my order told me they had gluten free buns. The buns are in their own bag, would be warm when I got it and I could request condiments, lettuce, onion etc that would Come from a fresh bag that wouldn’t be touching anything else. My mustard and ketchup were given to me in packets. I didn’t mind having to assemble my burger myself. I felt this was nicely thought out so that I am protected from what I like to call cross pollination. :) I felt grateful that in a pinch I know I have one more place I can go to to grab a quick bite. Side note: the bun is good. Soft, not overly grainy - works well with the burger.

They have a dedicated fryer for fries although there may be filtered oil from the other fryer so if you are super sensitive I would order one of the the other gluten safe sides. All burgers and sandwiches can be served on a gluten free bun which is pretty tasty.
